Regretfully using A1 Removals left me over £1,000 out of pocket, with nothing to show for it.
I had the opportunity to get a very large shelving unit for a great price from a location near A1 Removals.
I contacted them to obtain a quote for disassembly, collection, storage, delivery and reassembly. The quote was given and accepted.
I paid for the disassembly and collection, as well as ongoing storage costs.
When I contacted A1 to arrange for delivery and reassembly to my site, I was advised that due to reasons relating to my location and site they would not be able to do this.
The problem of course is that I only agreed to, and paid for, the disassembly, collection, and storage, on the basis that it would be delivered and reassembled, a shelving unit stored on the south coast is no good to me.
There were no changes at my address, and all further information relating to the delivery would have been available at the time of quotation should they requested it.
The best solution John could give me is that I could arrange for someone else to collect, or they could scrap it for me.
A1's failure to properly look at a job before quoting left me out of pocket of over £1,000 and on that basis it would be my opinion that they are a company not to be trusted or used by others.Read more

A1 Storage removal have been impeccable in providing a professional & efficient service when packing and transporting my home belongings to my new address. From the initial call with Annie, to the home visit for drawing up the quotation and more importantly speaking with John to agree and confirm the deal who reassured me throughout the time that I was in good hands, and he was more than right, I was in exceptional hands. The packing team was a delight and brilliant who went over and above to make this a remarkable and exceptional experience. 10 out of 10, you have a customer for life.

From the initial call with Annie to the moment we were surrounded by boxes in our new home A1 removals were incredible. The lads were friendly, joyful and cheeky (in a witty and brilliant way). No box was too big, heavy or wonky and they respected our beloved items.
A huge shoutout to Annie who offered the best service I’ve received in a long time. When I mixed up the Completion date she instantly came up with a plan to ensure we could still move on our desired date.
We would not hesitate to use A1 Removals again!

Great guys, my wife and I had broken down on a junction and waiting for recovery, every car drove past but the van stopped and asked us if we needed help offering to push the car to a safer location which they did. You can tell the character of a business by these sort of action when no money is involved. Thank you for you help

All the lads were very professional, fast and so efficient, at both ends of the move.
So helpful and friendly.
Annie, was excellent keeping in touch checking on the progress throughout the day, so helpful.
A1 was so accommodating with our moving dates constantly changing.
So glad we booked them, I would highly recommend them, all the staff from office to the removal crew all worked together as a very well connected team.... thank you so much for making our move stress free

Our initial contact with A1 was very efficient, friendly and straightforward. Our removal day from start to finish went very smoothly. The men worked non-stop, were prompt, good-natured and careful. They arrived next day before us at our new house and once again worked in the same efficient manner and put everything where we wanted it. We couldn’t have asked for a better overall experience. The receptionist in the office who arranged everything was also very helpful and friendly.
