Samson R & Sons Removals – Outstanding Service!
I can't say enough good things about Samson R & Sons Removals—simply outstanding! We were dealing with a complicated, 7-property chain with varying quality of solicitors, which made the exchange and completion process quite tricky. With very short notice, we were told we had just a week to complete. Unfortunately, our initial removals company couldn’t accommodate the date, but they recommended Samson R & Sons, who came out the very next day for a quote and confirmed they could meet our Friday deadline.
Their team was absolutely fantastic! A cheerful, hardworking group that made the whole experience stress-free. Nothing was too much trouble for them.
On moving day, things didn’t go smoothly on our end, and we didn’t get the keys until 5:10 PM. Despite the delay, Samson R & Sons went above and beyond. They unloaded for two hours that evening and then returned on Saturday morning to finish the job without hesitation. I was particularly impressed because other people we spoke to in the chain had to go to an ATM to withdraw large amounts of cash for their removals going past 5 PM.
From start to finish, their service was exceptional, and I highly recommend Samson R & Sons for anyone needing a reliable and accommodating removals firm.Read more

Moved June 2024, had the packing service which was fantastic value for money, the service was brilliant and the chaps could not have been more positive and helpful. Cannot recommend them strongly enough and all at a very competitive price.

We needed an awkward piece of furniture dismantled and removed for laying a new carpet, then returned and reconstructed in a new location.

I booked this firm for a removal of approx 8 miles and it took place on 15 Dec 2022. The three young lads were very good, cheerful helpful and friendly. After the move we did a check on the furniture as we had a few problems with previous move and found a few punctures on the dining room chairs. We got in touch with the firm on or about the 20 Dec and sent images of the faults. A day later we also found the same type of mark on the top of the Tumble Drier and reported this by telephone. As it was the Xmas break and we expected the removal firm to be closed we did not phone them again until 3rd January 2023. At first the lady we spoke to said she could not find any of the images that we had sent but in the end we she found them in her junk mail. We the got a text from Mr Samson saying he believed that from the images he believed they were from wear and tear.We responded that was not the case and invited him to come and inspect the damages. His next text was to say that we would have to pay the excess charge of £200.00 and their insurers would not think it worthwhile. I had naively not read up on the excess charge but felt that the damage to the chairs meant that they would have to be replaced because the firm who supplied them had discontinued their type and the Tumble Drier would need remedial work. Again we invited Mr Samson over to our flat to inspect the damages but have not heard from him since. This family firm is not to be trusted especially the owner and I would definitely not recommend anyone to use them. Again I must point out that the lads who carried the move were very good but obviously a little careless with our belongings.Read more
