We used AMC for some trade assistance when we had a delivery not far from them. The member of staff they sent was on time and hard working. We had the pleasure of speaking with Alex in the office to make arrangements and he could not of been more helpful. If we are ever in the area again and require assistance, we would not hesitate to contact.

I dealt with Catherine throughout my removals service from AMC. They were speedy to reply to my initial enquiry, and were willing to take time to understand the method of my move, and provide multiple options. Alex came out to survey and I had a quote through within a couple of hours of his visit. He offered me solutions to buying protective covers etc for my TV, and portable wardrobe. I later bought a dining table and AMC were flexible to accommodate that and provide protective coverings. Additional protective coverings/crates/portable wardrobe were all very reasonable in cost.
I then need to change to a move-into-storage (and eventually back to a direct move) - and again, the flexibility offered, the patience and understanding just removed so much of the stress from me.
The two guys doing the removal were absolutely fantastic and powered through it all - they checked with me where I needed stuff to go, and what was/wasn't going in the lorry.
Really could not have asked for better service, and wouldn't hesitate to use AMC again, and would highly recommend them.Read more

They think it's acceptable to break expensive items and take no responsibility for them. Court case pending.
*Edit* they have responded saying that because of this review they will not be working to replace any damaged items, kind of says it all about this company. Pathetic.

An excellent service. John and Alan were calm, polite and professional and made our house move infinitely easier. Unlike previous man/van type companies who have always tried to just do the job as quickly as possible (generally as they have bookings before and after) - the fact that this move was the only job booked in for them on this day meant they could be organised and thoughtful in the way they went about the job. Stairs were all protected on both properties. The flatscreen TV move was done smoothly. They used portable wardrobes to move clothes without them getting crushed or folded, and organised with me at the new site so I had time to build new clothes rails for the clothes to move to. where possible they avoided leaning anything against walls, to avoid marks. Great service I will be honest and say my initial thoughts when quoted for the job was 'crikey that's expensive' - but, now that the job has been done - i can confirm it is not expensive for what you get. you ALWAYS have loads more to do than you think you do. Hiring AMC was money well spent and I would highly recommend them to anyone requiring a move. Thanks again to the guys on the day.Read more

Arrived on the day, staff member had an attitude. More money £380 was demanded on the day as we had 'under estimated'. Our possessions were held to ransom in the van until additional payment was processed. Boxes although clearly marked per room and Fragile, etc were damaged in transit and 'dumped' in a few rooms, not where they should have gone. We then had to spend all weekend moving them ourselves. Put a claim in and had to jump through hoops, with photographs, forms, etc now not claiming any responsibility for damages. Avoid.
