Reliable Removals & Storage Ltd was founded in 1993 and has remained a family run business since it's inception. We are proud to retain our status as a family owned and operated business, being true to our core values of providing a personal, flexible and quality service.
Husband and wife, Dan and Sara Large took over the ownership of Reliable Removals & Storage Ltd in 2005 and since then have both been heavily involved in the growth of the business to where we are today.
In 2006, Reliable Removals & Storage Ltd obtained full membership to the National Guild of Removers & Storers (NGRS). As part of our membership we comply and adhere to a strict code of practice.

We moved with reliable removals on the 18th December 2018 and put our house contents into storage for nearly 3months prior. You can never get hold of anyone, their customer service is appalling. They promised a removal date and one of the trucks didn’t show up until the next day so we had to take another day off work to accommodate them. They have also managed to lose 2 of our armchairs! Elizabeth one of the staff that you deal with there is rude and never communicates. The guys who delivered our furniture were lovely but no one has contacted us regarding our missing furniture! Elizabeth has said she would contact us but we have not heard anything from her! Decide for yourselves if you want to choose this company !!

My sister was due to move today and Reliable cancelled, by e-mail, about one minute before they were supposed to turn up. To say we were furious doesn’t come anywhere near the situation - having to legally vacate the house with no one to move my sister’s effects!!!! To make matters a hundred times worse no one from management bothered to phone to apologise - in fact, no one called back at all. We were disgusted with the treatment we received and would not recommend Reliable to anyone. No stars.

Excellent service. The guys that carried out my move were courteous, professional, friendly and very helpful. They made the move very easy and smooth. Getting in touch with the office is a bit tricky - but it's well worth persevering.

NOT even worth a star.
Absolutely useless. When they turned up they refused to pick up most of the items. They damages my American style fridge, damaged the frame of my new door at my new address and one of they staff members started farting in front of me and my family.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THEM.

We are buying a new house so only get 5 days notice for completion. We explained this to 'reliable' removals and were told that this is normal, don't worry. They said that we were in the diary and if it starts to get busy they would call us and let us know so we could pay a deposit to reserve our place. They just called with 8 days to go and said they were full and couldn't do the move. Moving house is stressful enough, don't risk adding more pressure by using this bunch of chancers.

We were very happy with our recent move with Reliable Removals. We found all of the staff to be professional, friendly and courteous throughout the the whole move.
We used the packing service which was definitely worth the money and highly recommend.
We would not hesitate to recommend this company and we would definitely use them again.
