We hired Rileys to help us with a move to Maidstone from Gravesend . Derek Riley was brilliant .Delivered everything perfectly , kept us informed of where he was on the drive as we were also driving the same route. 100% punctual, and put in serious graft loading and unloading. would hire again. Moving was so easy thank you again

I give one star because the site does not enable me to give no stars. I have thought hard about giving this review as I don’t really like being negative. I have decided to review as the owner of the company has decided that the best way to resolve a problem is to ghost it and not reply. Riley’s arrived with 2 x 3.5 ton vans. These are not big vans so straight away I knew that they would not be big enough for the removal. One of the removal guys said that this happens all the time lately and it’s embarrassing for them. Another guy called the owner Derek and was told that they couldn’t get another van and asked that we leave all our property on the drive to collect later. Obviously this was not acceptable as the new people would be arriving plus it was raining plus we didn’t want our possessions stolen. Derek then came up with the idea to unload all our stuff into a warehouse in Hempstead ? and come and reload. This is what happened. When the boys went back to collect the stuff they couldn’t load it because someone had unloaded in front of our stuff so they couldn’t get to it. We got our possessions at 10.30 that evening. As if that wasn’t bad enough we now have stuff missing including a rocking chair that belonged to my partners mum who is now deceased. Clearly this cannot be replaced. We also have personal effects missing including clothes. There may be more missing but we won’t know until we look for it over time. Despite contacting Derek and asking for his insurance details he has decided that the best thing to do is to ignore us. We have threatened going to the police or turning up at his premises but he has still ignored us. If you value your property I would advise that you use another company. Moving is stressful enough without our experience and without losing property. I never asked for a cheap job just a good one. I would not recommend this company. If you see this Derek I would say that this could have been avoided if you only spoke to us.Read more

Rileys Removals..absolutely fantastic, such charming workmen and amazing people, they moved us just before Christmas and I can’t thank them enough, prompt, polite, caring, incredibly professional, I would give them 10 stars!!!! Thank you Rileys

Riley’s packed and moved my wife and I from London to Chatham with an additional drop to a storage unit in Ashford. Professional and responsive from start to finish. Did not stop until the job was done, nothing was too much trouble for the team! Recommended.

There's so many positives to this company. They helped me move on Saturday and trusted me to pay them at a later date (today) - really grateful for their help with moving so giving them a £20 tip.
