Whilst moving my belongings from one home to another, they didn't scratch or mark a single wall and there was no damage done to my belongings whatsoever. They dismantled my very complicated wardrobe and put it back together in my new property and didn't complain even once.
Just make sure you clarify and agree the price with their boss on the phone 3-4 times beforehand, to ensure you don't pay any unnecessary excess for going over the work time slightly. Either way, make sure you ask for the dynamic and super professional duo of Dimitri and Jalol.
I chose them because they offered the most competitive quote, but this was a mistake. To start, I have to say that the young guy was great and did his best. However, despite explaining my move to Daniel on the phone, the older guy was complaining from the beginning. He spent most of his time slowing things down, on the phone, not really doing much, and complaining. Ultimately the company called me a few time to tell me there would be additional charges due to time. Clearly from previous reviews this is a tactic, as if I had not moved as many boxes myself it would have taken much longer.
Ultimately, go for another company. They offer a good quote but once they’re on the job they’ll do what they can to increase the price - it’s just dishonest and not transparent upfront.
Booked for midday slot and the day before was phoned to be advised that they would arrive between 12 and 1pm - this was not made clear at the point of booking. They arrived about 12:30
The people who came to do the work were fine, if a little unmotivated and one seemed to chain smoke through the job. I felt like I did most of the work.
They then damaged two record cabinets by sliding them across the ground instead of lifting them using trucks and then claimed not to be liable as the damage is less than £150 worth.
They insisted on the bulk of the payment in cash to the drivers, which I suspect is to avoid tax and then the drivers do not have change.
