I had a great experience with Mark Ratcliffe moving. I discussed the move beforehand and paid the minimum 4 hour charge up front.
On the day, the 2 removal guys were great. They worked at speed and we were able to fit everything in 1 load and all was completed in the minimum 4 hour charge.
I was apprehensive they may go slow to incur more costs, but absolutely not.
I even received a welcome to my new home card some days later. Excellent. Book with confidence.

We recently moved house in Wadhurst. On our arrival at our new property it was evident that the removal men (Mark Ratcliffe Moving and Self Store) at the new property were still in the process of loading the vans. Unfortunately this process was not completed until 3.30 and, having communicated with the owners, we understand that despite the agreement that 3 vans and the appropriate number of men would be provided, on the day unfortunately only 2 vans and reduced man power were provided and therefore one van was then required to make 2 journeys. Given the limited parking and access to our new home this unfortunalely resulted in a delay until 3.30 before we had access resulting of an additional cost to us of £360 (over and above the one hour delay that is considered acceptable when completing on a property). Despite initially agreeing to make a contribution to this extra cost this offer was then withdrawn!

Fantastic reliable professional international moving company. Specializing in shipping to Thailand. All my personal items were carefully and professionally packed and safely transported to Thailand. Thank you , Chris, Andrew and Derrick. It took all day for Marks team to pack and load the 2 lorries.I highly recommend Mark Ratcliffe and his team. When you move abroad it is a big worry whether you will be reunited with your personal, family furniture and valuable possessions. I was able to check on the container ship using an online app, to follow its progress. After paying the Customs and Import Duty tax, my stuff was delivered by United Relocation and within 2 hours everything was in the house.
It has taken me , over 1 month to unpack everything . Everything was delivered safely.
Mark Ratcliffe Moving Ltd website is great. Professional and easily accessible. The UK lorries have eye catching art work adjoining them.
I am retired, after a career working for the NHS as a frontline worker. Mark Ratcliffe Moving Ltd is a company I would definitely want to work for.

So hardworking, helpful and friendly!! You’d be mad not to book Mark Ratliff’s fantastic team to help with moving from home to new home, which can be SO stressful!! Not with this team!!!

I can not recommend enough!!!! Truly fantastic service from start to finish. I was looking to move some furniture and boxes of items from the UK to Thailand and it was flawless. Great communication, friendly service and top notch expertise and professionalism. They took care of treasured items perfectly and arranged shipping to Thailand. On the Thai side it was handled by United Relocations who they partner with, and again communication and delivery was more than I hoped for. Whether you are looking to relocate in the UK or abroad, I highly recommend using Mark and his team. Prices were also very reasonable

Mark Ratcliffe Removals and Storage are without doubt one of the most professional removal companies I have dealt with. I buy and sell many properties and it is such a relief when one finds such a professional and efficient company. I live abroad and I needed to remove and store furniture within 4 days as we exchanged and completed on a property much faster than we had originally planned. I called Mark and discussed my problem, within a day they reviewed my job, the next day a friendly team arrived and packed, removed and stored my furniture . They even were happy to return and pick up some items I forgot to include. I organised all of this while I was in Spain. I cannot recommend this company enough. Thank you so much
