We are a friendly family run Removal company. We are fully insured with haulage, goods in transit (up to £10,000 per van load) employers liability insurance as well as public liability insurance. We are Trading standards approved as well as being a member of move assured (a professional moving standards body) we have also been awarded three best rated in south Tyneside as well as having over 215 reviews on checkatrade. All our vans are fully equipped with tools for dismantling and rebuilding. We have blankets and straps on every van as well a having padded sofa bags and mattress bags and piano wheels and piano sled for grand pianos as well as tail lifts on two of our vans. We used Gibson Removals for a recent house move in Boldon and they were fantastic. The lads were very friendly, professional, quick and reliable putting us at ease on what was a streasful day. They never stopped and were skilled at manouvering heavy furniture around a tricky staircase. They disassembled our wardrobes etc and reassembled at our new home. Highly competitive and fair price. Unlike other companies there was no hidden extras or extra charges - the price was the one quoted. Highly recommend.

I can’t recommend Gibson Removals highly enough. From start to finish, the service was absolutely fantastic. The team took care of everything — from careful, efficient packing to smooth and timely delivery — with such professionalism and attention to detail. They made what could have been a stressful process completely stress-free. Every step was handled with care, courtesy, and a real focus on making things easy for us. After short notice of our van rental being cancelled due to heavy snow fall, we managed to get Gibson removals to come help us move in Barnard Castle. The snow was still bad, the lads never complained once. Grafted all day, even digging drive ways out to get us moved. They were so professional, polite and friendly. In hindsight there was no way we would have got moved without them, we never lifted a single heavy item. Also the care they took to loading and unloading the belongings and making sure they were well packaged during transit was great.

I hired Gibsons Removals to help me move house yesterday. They visited beforehand to see the job to give an exact quote which is a huge worry lifted as nobody likes a surprise on the day!
At the exact time agreed, Peter and Graham arrived and were immediately ready to get started. They were professional, polite, and so helpful. The organisation is brilliant so my things are all in the correct rooms in the new place. The care taken with my belongings has resulted in a stress free moving day with a comfortable price tag attached. I would recommend this company to anyone for any moving or collection/delivery job.
