We are a friendly family run Removal company. We are fully insured with haulage, goods in transit (up to £10,000 per van load) employers liability insurance as well as public liability insurance. We are Trading standards approved as well as being a member of move assured (a professional moving standards body) we have also been awarded three best rated in south Tyneside as well as having over 215 reviews on checkatrade. All our vans are fully equipped with tools for dismantling and rebuilding. We have blankets and straps on every van as well a having padded sofa bags and mattress bags and piano wheels and piano sled for grand pianos as well as tail lifts on two of our vans. I hired Gibsons Removals to help me move house yesterday. They visited beforehand to see the job to give an exact quote which is a huge worry lifted as nobody likes a surprise on the day!
At the exact time agreed, Peter and Graham arrived and were immediately ready to get started. They were professional, polite, and so helpful. The organisation is brilliant so my things are all in the correct rooms in the new place. The care taken with my belongings has resulted in a stress free moving day with a comfortable price tag attached. I would recommend this company to anyone for any moving or collection/delivery job.

Excellent service provided at the last minute after another moving company let us down. Donna came round the next day to provide an estimate and helped me understand the process of our first house move.
The team put my mind to rest and helped make the stressful moving process go as smoothly as possible. Lovely group of lads who had the house all packed up and ready to go within a few hours. VERY competitive on price, thanks again for all your help!

Very grateful to Gibson Removals, there was some confusion with the addresses and they couldn't pick up the furniture during their slot in the morning, but they made time for me after their previous job and got everything here ASAP. I was in communication with them so the issues could be sorted, they were responsive and quick to get back to me if they needed to check things their end.

* High quality removal company from start to finish even going above & beyond to get me settled in my new home. They provided an entire house move and what a fantastic service I got - Very professional from the day Donna came to give me a quote to the actual move.
On the day the most hard working group of lads arrived! Exactly on time, completely organised and efficient in moving all my things. Very careful in moving items and were so friendly too. The move was seamless & I could 100% recommend this company. Look no further for a highly professional company. BRILLIANT! Thanks very much.

I CAN'T recommend Gibsons Removals enough!! 🤩
Having used the guys 3 times now I can honestly say that they are awesome and they never ever disappoint!
The first time they moved our entire business from one warehouse to another - this was not an easy job due to the sheer amount of stock we had (clothing) and the fact that it all had to be moved from a second floor!! They did it with smiles on their faces and a 'nothing is too much bother' attitude. 🙌🏻
The second move was only a couple of weeks ago when they moved us to our new home - we knew that after the first job, if we ever moved home Gibsons would be who we booked to do it!
From the moment they walked into our house I knew we had made the right choice. From morning to night (when we eventually got the keys to our new house) they grafted!! The banter and laughter was the best and made what could have been a really stressful day soooooo much easier.
They didn't leave until the entire job was done including rebuilding furniture and they didn't even complain about my rubbish coffee. By the time they left I felt like they were part of the family 😂
I also should add that we chose the WORST weather day to move! It was torrential rain and wind. Awful. But the lads didn't complain once and somehow managed to keep everything dry and clean 👏🏻
A week later we had purchased a snooker table which needed collecting from Bedale. Gibsons jumped in a van and headed down to collect it for us! They had to dismantle, transport and rebuild again at our end. Again all with huge smiles on their faces and they even missed the start of the football to finish the job!
I know this review seems ridiculously long but I hear so often people say that it's a nightmare to find good removals firms and so I want everyone to know about Gibsons!
