About
Homecare Removals, which was founded in 1999 by proprietor Adrian Riley, has grown steadily over the years due to the large amount of referral and repeat customer work they receive. In June 2007, Adrian’s wife Jackie joined him in the running of the business. Homecare then expanded from their original premises in West Sleekburn, Northumberland, to larger premises in Victoria Industrial Estate, Hebburn, South Tyneside. The new location is within easy access of the A19 and A1. Allowing a wider service area to Homecare Clients.Read more

Straight forward experience at a fair price for a careful service.
Before the move, Claire visited to provide an accurate estimate and highlight the process.
On the day, 3 of her team arrived on time with 2 vans and got straight to work. They're clearly experts at van jenga and managed pack with almost no gaps in the van. Impressive.
We started at 9 am and we're unloaded into the new house before 6 pm.
Great service all round and the lads had good crack which helped keep the day low stress.
I'd happily recommend Claire and her team to anyone looking to move house for a fair price.

Used hcr to move house a few months ago & they were excellent. Got them back as I was having new flooring laid throughout the house. Took some stuff into storage & came out twice to rearrange furniture so the flooring could be completed. At the end of a very long day for them they brought my stuff out of storage & put the house back in order. Cheerful, professional & willing. Great lads, great service. Highly recommended.

Would highly recommend this company. They made our move from the South Coast to the Northeast as easy as possible. Wayne, Aiden, Mark and Reagan were professional, flexible and accommodating, and did their jobs with good humour. They are absolutely brilliant! Our point of contact (Claire) was beyond helpful and went the extra mile to ensure we got what we needed. Would not hesitate to recommend to friends or family.

A fantastic service all around!
The booking process was really easy and the staff are very responsive to queries and helpful tips to make the moving process as smooth as possible.
On the day of our move, the removals team got straight on with the job and delivered an excellent service. They were friendly and helpful. In addition, they went above and beyond for us as we had some difficulties with our washing machine when we moved it over.
HCR were great value for a fantastic service.
