About
Homecare Removals, which was founded in 1999 by proprietor Adrian Riley, has grown steadily over the years due to the large amount of referral and repeat customer work they receive. In June 2007, Adrian’s wife Jackie joined him in the running of the business. Homecare then expanded from their original premises in West Sleekburn, Northumberland, to larger premises in Victoria Industrial Estate, Hebburn, South Tyneside. The new location is within easy access of the A19 and A1. Allowing a wider service area to Homecare Clients.Read more

Avoid this company!
Everything was going ok on the day until our only prized possession (a dining room table) was dropped and damaged. We have spent ONE WHOLE YEAR trying to get this sorted, and we're still none the wiser or further along. We've been extremely patient and reasonable with HCR but we've been fobbed off time and time again by Claire this whole time.
We've filed a complaint with trading standards. Absolutely horrendous service, avoid at all costs if you care about your possessions being moved

Great experience with HCR removals Derek and Tom explained everything and made the whole removal process so much easier and are a credit to the company for the work they carried out. I also appreciate Claire and her explanation on how things worked. I seriously couldn’t recommend the company more thank you for a professional service

Claire at HCR Removals was amazing. We had a difficult chain, so completion dates kept changing last minute. Claire was always available to talk and was very flexible around the uncertainty.
On the day we had 4 guys to move us and they worked hard and quickly.

I cannot recommend this business highly enough. Claire has been amazing: so kind, flexible accommodating, organised and efficient throughout many date changes. Tom and Craig were fantastic on the day of the move; really lovely hard working lads. I’m recommending them to all my friends and will use them again for my next move.

A five star service! Wayne and Craig helped us move house. They worked extremely hard during the day and handled our stuff with care and consideration. They were friendly and provided us with helpful advice throughout the removal process. The service they provided was outstanding and I would have no hesitation recommending them to anyone considering a removal company. From initial contact with Claire to the completion of our move, Claire and all her staff were friendly, polite, professional and friendly. We required an additional drop off with our move and this was accommodated without any issues. Special mention to Derek who oversaw the move and couldn't do enough for us and is a great ambassador for the company. Very professional and friendly staff and all at a great price. Highly recommended A+++
