We used Dollimore and Christie in our recent move. We had three estimates and whilst they were not the cheapest, we liked their personal approach.
Come moving day, they arrived on time, worked tirelessly on a very hot day and got the lorry and van packed in a good time.
They arrived at the new house before us, set up and again worked non-stop.
Very impressed and would highly recommend them.

I have used Dollimore & Christie to move house twice: once for a removal within Hitchin in 2006, and again to move from Hitchin to Uppingham in Rutland in 2024. They were excellent on both occasions. I recommend them.

Used Dollimore and Christie to move from Stevenage to Bengeo. The three guys turned up on time and were brilliant throughout the day. They just got on with the job and were really polite and asked if they weren't sure about something. We were just able to relax with a cup of tea barely noticing they were there. Our three bedroom house was emptied in no time and you could tell all items were taken proper care of and handled with care. Even with a delay to us getting the key to our new properly they were completely understanding of the situation and really put us at ease on the day. When we got the key they were great in getting everything put back together and moved all our stuff to all the right places for us and if they weren't sure they'd just ask us where we want it. It was our first experience using a removals company and we would definitely use them in future if we ever move again - thanks again for your help.

Perfect for just what was needed had 1 gentleman turn up and box fragile items on Thursday. And 2 guy's on Sat Worked none stop .incredibly polite and efficient we were out of the house at 9am and fully Into the new apartment by 11.30am .well done will recommend to all our friends 😊.
