Barnes were completely fantastic during our move. From start to finish they were professional, courteous and capable. They made a strange and stressful situation (for us, at least!) as easy as possible. Massive shout out to Alex and Dean who lead the team and delivered us to our new home. They truly could not have been more helpful.

I highly recommend Barnes Removals. From Lincoln packing, storage and then delivery to Prague the service was first class, friendly and professional. We spoke to a person, not a computer, with every question. Lots of help with the forms and all the packers and unpackers were very careful. The Barnes team were also great with communications and all the staff showed a strong professional team spirit. Made the move easy. Thanks

I can’t recommend this company highly enough! Fantastic service above and beyond from start to finish. Paul did the quote for packing and removal, which was more than reasonable - and he made me laugh!! 12 pots is all I have to say!!! Charlie in the office sorted the invoice quickly and we were “ good to go” 10 days later! Connor and AJ how can I thank you enough!! You packed it all with me - with Brandon - also thanks - and we got it done. 52 years of “stuff” ready to go - no easy task! You were efficient and helped so much! Once you arrived at the new house on the other side of the country you moved everything in and helped put things together. Over and above the call of duty.(Connor every time I see a random thing in my mother’s new house I will think of us all trying to work out what the hell it was.) This is a company who cares!! AMAZING!

Mathew and Ozzy were so genuine in our move from collingham to nth Hykeham. Great banter and a joy to interact with. Credit to the team and worked realy well with each other today. 10 out of 10 for being genuine and great customer service. Many thanks guys Si and Jules

We used Barnes for a local move last month after a recommendation from a resident in the village. Unfortunately we were very disappointed - items were not handled with care, they seemed more concerned about getting the job done quick, especially when unpacking. They showed us one item that was damaged on the day and told me to put it on the paperwork and someone would contact me. No one ever did, and we have since found further items damaged. I rang today to chase / report the other items and was told as not reported in 7 days unable to claim. I understand there has to be a cut off period but who can unpack an entire 4 bed family house in under 7 days. They also did not estimate properly and the wagon was filled and we still had items left - they drove off to the new property and we had to rope in friends and family with extra cars. Overall very unhappy with the experience and would not recommend.
