Amber Moves is hands down the best moving company we’ve ever used.
They organised our move within Chelsea, spending the first day carefully packing everything and the second day moving all the furniture and boxes. We’ve moved several times before, and this was by far the smoothest and most pleasant experience we’ve ever had.
From the initial communication through to the two moving days, the team was professional, friendly, and incredibly efficient. They worked quickly while handling everything with great care and attention to detail, making what could have been a stressful few days feel completely under control.
Not a single item was damaged. Everything was packed exceptionally well — even the piano was carefully wrapped and delivered without issue. They also went above and beyond in small but thoughtful ways, from building a temporary TV stand out of boxes for our first night in the new home to writing funny notes on my son’s boxes (“Beware: scary clown inside!”).
Above all, the people are genuinely wonderful. Gareth, Jack, Vlasta, Mitchell, and Dylan were an absolute pleasure to have around. It’s clear they’ve worked together for a long time and take real pride in providing a great service.

We recently hired Amber Moves for our relocation and were very impressed with the service provided. Moving is usually a complicated process, but the team managed to complete both the packing and the move itself in a single day.
The level of professionalism displayed by the crew was consistent throughout the day. We particularly appreciated their attention to detail regarding our belongings; every item was packed carefully, and they took the time to label every box clearly. This organization made a significant difference as we began to settle into our new home, as we knew exactly where everything was located.
In addition to their efficiency, the team was very friendly and easy to communicate with. They maintained a positive, helpful attitude from start to finish, which made the entire experience much smoother for us.

Absolutely outstanding service from start to finish. The team were punctual, professional, and incredibly efficient, but what really stood out was how careful and respectful they were with all my antique belongings and large paintings. Nothing was rushed, nothing was damaged, and everything was handled with genuine care, even went taking a large sofa and desk through a quite tricky window!
They communicated clearly throughout the move, stayed calm under pressure, and somehow managed to make what is usually a stressful day feel smooth and even pleasant. Furniture was expertly wrapped, heavy items were handled with ease, and everything arrived exactly as it left.
It’s rare to find movers who combine speed, skill, and courtesy at this level. I’ve moved five times in London with other companies and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Amber to anyone moving. This is how moving should be done!

We used amber moves for the move out of our flat and move into our new house. Their service from beginning to end was absolutely outstanding.
We received fantastic service before the move had begun. We paid for the Amber moves team to pack up all our belongings and furniture and provide all the materials to do so, which is something we highly recommend opting for. It was so stress free and saved us days upon days and the stress of packing ourselves plus the effort of buying all our own boxes and wrapping materials.
We went away for a weekend to a friends wedding and literally left our home and belongings exactly as they were without lifting a finger prior to the team coming (to the extent of mugs still in the dishwasher!) and returned to everything packed up in an incredibly organised and tidy manner. They are absolute masters when it comes to packing (which also really came to light when it came to unpacking on the other end.) Not a single item was broken and everything was labelled clearly making it really easy to unpack.
The moving service was just as flawless. They were so efficient and the entire day they all had smiles on their faces (despite the incredibly steep staircase they had to climb multiple times throughout the day!) Nothing was a problem for the team - they couldn’t do enough. They were so friendly, so professional and courteous and without a doubt, I would recommend them time and time again.

Very professional & friendly service. The team worked diligently throughout the day with almost nil break time. The packing took longer than anticipated but they did not flinch. All items were packed very well and loaded onto the transport van impeccably. The goods are stored in a secure warehouse. I used Amber Moves to move from Colindale to South East London, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Andrew was amazing—he helped me throughout the move and made the journey enjoyable with his great stories. He was professional, kind, and made me feel completely at ease. Everything was handled to a prestige standard, and he even repacked my plates after my less-than-perfect attempt! I highly recommend Amber Moves, and especially Andrew—100 out of 10!
