This move from my family home in Harrow North West London to Southampton was a year in the making. Inspite of the ongoing cost of living crisis my 2 main motivations ware lower costs of living and the love of being near water. The move itself went without a hitch, nothing was broken or danaged. I would definitely reccomend this company.

Despite telling and showing the company what needed moving they sent too small a van. It cost me a further £500 to get my remaining items moved! The people who did the moving had no care or professionalism about them which ended up in several items being scratched and broken. I have complained several times about this but the company ignore me. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

They were flexible and things went well initially. Unfortunately they didn't tell me until I was going to pay the remai der of the fee, that I couldn't pay using my credit card. They then insisted that I pay by bank transfer or a mixture if cash and credit card. They gave me some rubbish excuse about trying to save me money. Which was ridiculous, they were trying to save themselves fees from the credit card Co. They insisted initially that it had to be paid by bank transfer. When I told them that nowhere on the contract did it say this, as I had read it thoroughly. They admitted that it wasn't in the contract. This conversation took place in front of my son and their worker, leaving me embarrassed and annoyed. I would have made alternative arrangements and arranged a transfer had I known. Not everyone moves on the day of completion and even if I had, I still wouldn't have been able to pay the for another 4 hours. Just because people have sold their property, it doesn't mean that they have an excess of cash. Some of us arr selling up because we can no longer afford to live in the property snd can only afford to buy after first selling. I advised them that had they made bank transfer of the remaining amount a part of the contract and told the customer, this could have been avoided all this and I would have given a higher rating.
