Great experience overall moving with Cavendish & Country - the packers were a brilliant and seamless team, making everyone laugh during what could have felt like a very stressful process. I don't know how they do it day in day out!

I couldn't reccommend Damien and the team more. We compared a couple of companies but there was only one stand out - Cavendish & Country was an easy decision based on communication, competitive prices and professionalism. On the day, the team arrived early and were SO efficient. Everything was also packed with great care. Really, thank you for making the move not just very easy but also fun!

Terrible service and complete lack of follow-up
My experience with Cavendish & Country has been extremely disappointing. During my move, my garden furniture was not protected at all, resulting in significant damage. Since November 15 to this day, the situation remains unresolved.
The customer service is non-existent: despite numerous follow-ups over several months, my case remains at a standstill. Their insurance is no better.
If you are looking for a reliable and professional moving company, avoid Cavendish & Country. Their lack of professionalism and commitment is unacceptable.

Nick and his crew ensured a smooth transition despite our ever-complex circumstances!
I first used Cavendish & Country about seven years ago. They were highly professional—arriving on time as agreed, carefully wrapping everything, and meticulously labeling each box by room. When unloading at the new house, they placed every box in its designated room, making unpacking so much easier.
Seven years later, when we needed to move again in 2024/2025, I didn’t even consider shopping around as I trust them. I simply picked up the phone, called Nick, arranged a meeting, received a quote, and booked the moving date. As expected, his crew arrived early in the morning and worked tirelessly throughout the day. Their professionalism stood out, from firm handshakes and eye contact on arrival to their careful handling of our personal and precious belongings. They made the entire process smooth and stress-free!
This time, our move was split between two different destinations. Nick played a vital role in coordinating the logistics, and his team went above and beyond to accommodate last-minute boxes and furniture changes.
At one point, we needed to collect some items from their storage for my children. Despite the office being closed for Christmas, Nick made arrangements with his crew and helped us retrieve them ontime.
One of the most important aspects of Cavendish & Country is the trust they build with their customers. Moving homes involves handling personal and valuable belongings, and their team operates with the highest level of integrity and care. Knowing we could rely on them gave us complete peace of mind.
I cannot recommend Cavendish & Country highly enough! Just yesterday, they delivered my final furniture and boxes on short notice, demonstrating once again their excellent organization, commitment to quality, and dedication to customer satisfaction.

We booked Cavendish and Country for our move from SE London to rural Hampshire. The pricing was very competitive, and Damien and the team were incredibly accommodating with a stressful exchange/completion date debacle at our end.
The movers were on time both days, they packed everything professionally and all boxes were labelled. Empty boxes were collected promptly after the move. Furniture and treasured items were handled with care.
I'd recommend Cavendish and Country to anybody.
