Recent move didn’t go as well as I’d hoped. Two beds requested dismantling and re-assembling; arrived with no tool box and not enough mattress covers. So many breakages and damage. Completed the insurance claim form but no confirmation from them it’s been submitted, despite chasing multiple times

They moved me in three vans - it was a big move. One of the vans broke down on the way but they did not bother to inform me until I called them the next day. Two days later the rest of the things arrived but when the crew brought the piano in they damaged the floor with the trolley - I was upstairs at the time and didn't see what they were doing. They were fine, but both times there was a heavy smell of alcohol from the crew and I had to open all the windows to air out the house after they had gone. I didn't spot the damage until I had finally moved all the boxes from the hall two weeks later. The company turned me over to their insurers, and after four months' correspondence they are still denying responsibility for this, instead of doing what they could easily have done and offering me a little compensation out of good will. Everyone has accidents but they are trying to claim that I (a woman of 73 on a pension) have caused this damage (two deep marks, half an inch deep, from the door to the living room where they placed the piano) and not them. If you do decide to use this company I'd advise you to watch them very carefully. They also damaged an art work owned by me because they packed it badly.Read more
