What makes your company stand out?

Each of our vehicles is company-owned and equipped with GPS tracking, ensuring we can monitor the location of your belongings at all times. Additionally, our vehicles come equipped with heavy-duty quilted removal blankets and straps to safeguard your furniture during transit, ensuring secure delivery. Our drivers are passionate and dedicated to their profession. They undergo rigorous training to safely handle and navigate the furniture in properties with care during both loading and unloading.

What is your insurance policy? How do you deal with damaged items?

We operate on a liability basis, where every quotation includes a £50 liability fee. This amount can be adjusted as per your specific requirements. In the event of any damage, we kindly request that you submit the claim form within 7 days of the delivery of the goods. During this 7-day period, we will assess the claim thoroughly and provide the most suitable resolution.

What is the best advice you would give to customers?

Moving to another home, whether your are moving just around the corner, to another city or another country is stressful, but the main thing - it is worth it, as in 99% it is due to the positive changes. It is a complex project, that involves a lot of preparation. Start preparation well in advance, to allow you more time to finalise all necessities at the old home, but also meet with your family and friends, and enjoy your time with them.

Professional, courteous and polite. They damaged nothing and went the extra mile to help me - even moving furniture from the house to the shed that had nothing to do with them. Tho I supplied an inventory, they happily accepted extra stuff without demure or price hike. The best movers I've ever had.

Global Moves was the only company where I could get an instant price for my move from London to Berlin.
I found them online, selected the furniture, boxes and other items I needed to move form their online calculator, and received the price straight away. The quote was reasonable, so I paid the deposit and booked the move for four days later.
Everything was collected as planned and delivered to Berlin just two days after collection. The whole process was straightforward, well organised and reasonably priced.
Very happy with the service.

I very rarely leave reviews online, but this time I wanted to make an exception.I moved with my family to Paris, and the two drivers who helped us with the move, both called Alex, were genuinely great guys. They arrived on Tuesday morning, packed everything, loaded two vans, and by Wednesday lunchtime they were already unloading our belongings in Paris. Everything went smoothly and much faster than we expected. The kids were happy, my wife and I were happy, and the whole move felt easy and well organised. Thank you to both Alexes and the Global Moves team.

We moved with a baby, so there was already quite a lot going on on moving day. We also ended up having more boxes than originally booked. The guys took everything, which was great, but we had to pay extra for the additional volume.
The delivery was also one day later than originally expected.
Overall, the service was good and the team handled everything well. I would have given 5 stars, but because of the extra charge and the one-day delay, I’m giving 4 stars.

I received a few cheaper man and van type quotes from other companies, but Global Moves offered the packing service at slightly higher price, but still was reasonable and I went for it. The movers themselves were fantastic and careful, efficient, and not in a rush. I even decided to bring a few extra pieces, and they adjusted the price fairly on the day.
