Range Relocations were unclear about their charges, when I raised a reasonable query I was met with multiple unprofessional emails. Because of the unclear charges (their terms contradict what they will ask you to agree to in an email quote), I remained respectful and asked for my deposit to be refunded but was told to 'go to court KAREN'.
I took their advice, and the court ruled in my favour in November.
This could have been avoided by clearly communicating their VAT charges and, when a customer raises a reasonable query, Range Relocations could engage respectfully and issue refunds when there is a reasonable and fair reason.
I was out of pocket and had to rearrange a move at short notice, as well as having to deal with the small claims court.
I would recommend avoiding Range Relocations or, if you do then be prepared for poor customer service and for Range Relocations to take every opportunity to retain any payments you have made.

We contacted these people,via another company,to our detriment,they asked for the money up front,which we paid,when they arrived they didn't move out of there van,we wondered why,most people want to get stuck in,and get done,they then said they wanted £150/man extra per hour,if we didn't pay they were gonna leave the site,the scam begins,I said no,and they left,we paid £1400 up front,and now there asking for more money thru the civil court process for walking off the job,and leaving,I ask everyone please beware of these rogue traders,our detriment is giving them business,that's all we've done wrong

These guys really helped us in a difficult situation

This company is dishonest and took me for thousands of pounds. They packed my belongings and then held us to ransom unto we paid the money demanded. They are very skilled at conning you and also the owner [Name removed by Sirelo] is extremely threatening. His side kick is also very sneaky. Do not use this company.

NO star is the rating, WARNING...The movers who represented RR Range Relocations, a husbsnd and wife team we were told, where nice to begin with, but soon turned sour once they had our belongings. Unprepared, unprofessional, and with a negative attitude. We also tried to explain our stuation to RR Range Relocations, but were equally unapproachable, and in no way helped. The husband and wife team, said we had to pay an extra fee on the day, as thay had to walk across a road after we had paid and reserved parking for them, which they neglected to use. We helped with the carrying of our goods, as they huffed and puffed and complained continuously.
They could not work out how to move a table throgh a door way and claimed the legs had to be removed, this was not necessary.
[Content removed by Sirelo]. Once he had our belongings in the truck and had left, he then phoned to demand another £400, to be paid immediately or he would retain our belongings.
It has taken some time to recover from this ordeal and has had lasting affect on us adding unnecessary stress to the move.Read more
