There are two chief complaints:
* They failed to reasonable secure some important items, despite assurances that it is their 'one of their most experienced teams' and that it 'ensures that your valuable items, particularly the artwork and electronics, are handled with the utmost care and precision.' They should be upfront about what they can and cannot do.
* They caused some damage (fine, things happen) and did not handle it with honesty and integrity (unacceptable). This was observed in two ways: a) they did not tell me - I had to notice and point out myself, even for stuff they could not plausible miss (dropping something heavy) (b) once they got the money they did not meet their own (long) deadlines on the claim process, and my emails were largely ignored or left unanswered for a long time (c) to the extent they proposed any resolution they were insufficient to the point of being insulting.
On the plus side: they moved things fast, so if you pack and secure the items yourself, and don't let them handle anything too important, that might be fine. If anything happens, do not expect them to tell you or remedy it.Read more
