I had a great experience with Shirley’s Removals. I needed to move house very quickly so I contacted them. They sent me a form and asked me for a video of what to move/the layout of the place, which was very useful to get a sense of how much there was to move. A lot of companies don’t do that and I can say for certain that people always underestimate how much they own.
Since my budget was tight, they were also very flexible - I asked if my friends could help with the carrying - and they also suggested on the day the parking pricing/whether it was worth finding something closer, etc…
The 2 people who came were very efficient and really nice and fun to talk to! Moving is always very stressful so having reassuring and friendly people makes a big difference! They had a big van and sized very accurately how much I had. They had equipments, trolleys and covers to keep my furniture safe. They were also very transparent about possible damage (I had a very old Ikea desk that was about to die) so I could decide whether it was worth moving them or not. They even offered to help me with assembling/disassembling or even just show me how to do it.
The whole process was very smooth and fast so it was really affordable. I’ll definitely use them again and recommend them to all my friends.Read more

Wendy, Magali and their team helped my partner and I move a few months ago. We were so impressed by their efficiency, work ethic, care and attention they gave. From the initial contact with Wendy to arrange, through to the final items being brought into our new home the team were brilliant. The team worked quickly but with care and respect for all of our belongings. I wholeheartedly recommend Shirleys and would absolutely use the team again for any future moves.

We have used Shirley's Removals before and insisted on a certain completion date so that we could use them again for our move. We also used their packing service and, throughout, they were a pleasure to have around: it felt like having some friends present to help us move. They were extremely considerate of our things, very organised, friendly and showed genuine pleasure when we got to our new house. They were also very responsive and helpful in the lead up to the move.

I'm so glad we used Shirley's Removals for my family's recent move out of London. The team were friendly, efficient and very gentle mannered. We appreciated how they interacted with us and how they handled our belongings. Everything went smoothly on our moving day and it was reassuring that Wendy and Magali made themselves available in the days beforehand for answering questions and giving advice about preparations. Highly recommend using Shirley's! The team were kind, courteous, efficient and professional. They packed everything with great care, labelled the boxes, and deconstructed my bed and wardrobe.

We had a fantastic experience with our July 2025 move. Despite an emergency on their end, Shirleys Removals did not let us down, and provided a friendly + efficient service. Their moving quote was incredibly competitive as well. I would highly recommend! I would not want to move without them, and they far exceeded our previous experiences with man-and-van style moving teams. Thank you so much Wendy and Magali :)
