Teahouse Transport does not care about you or your belongings, and if something goes wrong during your delivery you better pray to whatever deity you believe in because you will be in for a hellish ride.
I used Teahouse Transport (henceforth TT) 2 times to move my personal belongings from one country to another for my studies.
The first time, they lost my guitar and guitar case, promised to reimburse me for it, and then never wired me the money.
The second time, the whole delivery process took an excruciating six weeks. Teahouse transport came to pick up my stuff on the wrong day, which triggered a chain of unsuccessful pick-ups by them. They failed to communicate with me properly, took no responsibility for their mistakes, and as the icing on the cake, didn't even fill in my invoice form properly. This meant that even if they had picked everything up on the right day, UK customs would have sent it right back.
In the end, I only got my stuff delivered to me because I hounded DHL about it and they were able to help me instead of TT.
Their actions (especially the invoice form shenanigans) border on negligence and I wouldn't trust them to deliver a toothpick for me at this point.
If you need to have your stuff delivered, cut out this useless middleman (and useless is a generous adjective here, seeing as that implies a net zero contribution to the experience and TT dove well into the negatives) and just order directly with DHL. I've paid for everything in advance, and now I find out that the German Customs wants money from the Receiver.
They invoke this reason: 'can transport only 10 items, the rest of'em will be costing extra'
This is appalling since I've paid in full, me as the Sender !
