We have been waiting for compensation since our move in September where the removal men ripped out the cables on our lazy boy sofa, scratched the TV and lost screws for the PC Monitor, they will stop answering calls and emails even though Adam has admitted that there were failings and the insurance company has so called been told.. no contact for months.. shameful company do not give them a dime of your money, you have been warned!!!

I would strongly advise you avoid this company, they moved my disabled elderly mother back in September unfortunately causing a great deal of damage to a number of her belongings, the workers were rude, constantly swearing and gave no care to her belongings whatsoever, worse still she has been trying to get some compensation for the damaged items which include washing machine, fridge freezer and a £1500 motorised bed that no longer works due to their appalling care. You'll see her full review on Google too, however I am reviewing based on my experience of dealing with the very dodgy, unscrupulous company owner, [Names removed by Sirelo] or whatever other name he gives out when he's trying to dodge your calls.

[Name removed by Sirelo] as he's known by my mother has been almost impossible to get hold of, he dodges calls, emails and messages and he and his company are a total farce. I spoke to him in December after my mother had been trying for 3 months to get some compensation for the damages to the above items, she had placed an initial Google review up as she couldn't get hold of him which [Name removed by Sirelo] then coerced her into removing as he said he would pay £150 back to her as a goodwill gesture for damages to the washing machine and fridge freezer and for his staff's awful behaviour and he assured her that he would get his insurance company to pay out for a replacement bed as he agreed his team had damaged it. Over the following 3 months my mother had not been able to make any further contact with him as he kept dodging the calls and ignoring the emails and messages.

I managed to get him on the phone a week before Christmas and after first trying to talk his way out of doing anything he assured me that a qualified engineer would be out to repair the damages to the bed within the first week of January. On Thursday 5th Jan I called him to remind him we were expecting an engineer, he ignored this so I advised him we would be reviewing his company, contacting trading standards and making an application to the small claims court and he then said an engineer would arrive on Saturday 7th and gave me a time, needless to say this engineer didn't arrive despite my mother waiting in all day and I have been trying to make contact with Adam since then, he is again dodging calls and messages.

This man has absolutely no care for the way his company treat your belongings and he will use every trick in the book to avoid fixing any damages caused. He has pretended to be different people when I've spoken to him on the phone and if you do manage to get hold of him after 30 calls and messages he promises he will rectify his company's mistakes but he never does. My mother has now been unable to use her bed which is a disability aid as she has reduced mobility since September 16th, nearly 4 months.[Name removed by Sirelo] clearly thinks it's perfectly acceptable to leave an elderly disabled lady without the ability to get out of her own bed for 4 months, so just imagine how disinterested he'll be when his team damage your belongings.

Avoid this company and it's dodgy owner.

I used Parkway to move me from Bicester to Faringdon in October.
Items have been broken (electric bathroom mirror) damaged in transit (2 x shoe racks) and the property damaged during the removals (broken spindles on the stairs).
I had to return to the property the following day and was aghast to realise that I needed two subsequent trips to collect a number of items that had been left behind (mirrors, kettle, mats, dustbins, pots, rugs, garden equipment). It was just as well I wasn't part of a chain as this would have been very awkward!
I have complained weekly since the move and had no response. I am therefore having to resort to small claims court.
