Apsolutly shocking suppose too come at ten am then decided it would be around 1 pm. It was a full house move so needed the time to move stuff. They didn’t ring me too let me know I only found out when I rang them and got fobed off. I booked this a month ago and kept in touch every step of the way too make sure nothing went wrong cos we booked time off work. Don’t use them Iv still got screen shots of conversations saying everything was going to plan but little did we know they weren’t coming

Cannot rate Fowlers enough. From start to finish. Unbelievably brilliant!!

Do not use for home moves. We also had some furniture damaged and they haven’t paid up for over a year now. Not even sure they have insurance due to this. It also appears the company occasionally phoenix’s itself (perhaps when it finds itself needing to pay out for damaged items).

The aministration of Fowlers for our removal left a lot to be desired! The removal men could not be faulted they worked tirelessly. We moved 18th 0ctober and were told the van would be with us no later than 10am - it arrived 11.50 am - after a number of phone calls. We were told the previous person has not been at the address so the van could not be unloaded. After writing to Fowlers the email reply says the person concerned should have been there on the 17th but wasnt and was told to be there for 8am on the 18th and wasn't so the van could not be unloaded. That was the reason for the van not coming to us until 11.50am - something Fowlers say is beyond their control. Maybe it is but that surely is not our problem and as a removal company they should make sure they have enough means to accommodate their customers. The admin left us feeling quite frustrated on the day as 80year olds and disappointed with Fowlers although we have to say the removal men were fantastic.

The guys were brilliant! Took all the stress and and anxiety out of moving day. Made 2 trips as 2nd van was out of action. Would definitely recommend

Fowlers moved us from Arnside to Lee on Solent earlier this year. On removal day the van they brought was too small and they struggled to get our belongings into the van, having to pile them high. As a result a wardrobe and table and chairs were damaged. As they have liability insurance we were confident this would be sorted, unfortunately we are still waiting 6 months later and we keep getting the run around. So we have referred this to the insurance ombudsman who are taking up our case. Sad it has come to this.
