Townsends took on the job of moving my mother from her 4 bedroomed house in Harrow to a 2 bedroomed flat in Nantwich. Every aspect of their service was really excellent from start to finish. Debbie came down in a van and spent 2 days packing at my mum's house, joined by Marina for her second day. Debbie and Marina really knew what they were doing and got on with it quickly and efficiently. They were both really good company to have around.
Pete and Dave arrived on Day 3 with the truck and got everything aboard in good order and good time.
Pete had also arranged local storage for all the things which we could not leave behind or take to the new flat and delivered all mum's stuff to the two destinations: store and flat.
This was all done cheerfully, efficiently and for a price with which I couldn't quibble at all. I didn't compare prices because Pete had come so strongly recommended, and I am now very pleased that I didn't waste any time doing so.
Pete, Dave, Debbie, Marina - great team. These guys should get a best in business award.Read more

I can’t thank Pete and his team for managing our move from Surrey to Audlem. It was a big job but Pete and his team worked really hard to get the job done. Polite, friendly and incredibly accommodating. Especially when it came to rearranging dates when complications in the chain delayed completion on more than one occasion. Highly recommend their services.

Fantastic service from Pete and Townsends. Genuinely nice guys who took the stress out of one of what could have been one of the most stressful days and literally carried it on their shoulders. There's a lot of costs with moving house - some avoidable, much not so - but getting a removals company to handle your move should be an absolute must... and Townsends should be your first call.

Exceptional hassle-free service from this lovely friendly long-standing local business. Happy to go above and beyond to make sure Mum’s move went smoothly. Kindly appreciated Mum is 83 and all were happy not to rush her. Debbie packed everything with great care the day before and Pete & Niall were brilliant, happy to arrive early on the day, efficient and respectful of Mum’s possessions. The cost was very reasonable too. I would definitely recommend Townsend’s of Nantwich they made what could have been a stressful day very easy for us. Thank you to everyone.

Pete went above and beyond for me when I was in a difficult situation and having to move house quickly. The service was outstanding and it took so much stress off me knowing that they had it all under control. This is one of the easiest house moves I have ever had and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again (although hopefully not for a while yet!). Thank you Pete and team you have all been kind and friendly and professional. A real family business.
