I used Rhemo Removals for a complex move and storage purposes over 2024. The initial administration was handled extremely efficiently with excellent communication. When I contacted Rhemo, I explained that there would be two moves. One move out of two adjoining flats, part into storage, part into another flat. Then a move back to a single property reunited with stored items. Initially an assessor came round to view the items, and they made a calculation of the size of removal vehicle required. On the first moving out day, it was clear that the size of vehicle wasn’t large enough, and so another vehicle load had to be included at my expense. The movers worked really hard on the day and everything made it pretty much intact to second flat. The day came to move and consolidate everything back to a single property and on the day, several breakages were noted and reported. The movers worked really hard again, led by the indefatigable Paul. HOWEVER and this is the reason for the low rating. There were several items damaged. One was part of a set of glass bedroom furniture with two items being damaged. However the small print doesn’t include replacing of sets. So I have damaged bedroom furniture and £50 compensation and I had to negotiate hard for that. We had a large amount of furniture to unpack and this process took several weeks and we discovered other damaged items and when we raised this with Rhemo, we were told that we only had ONE WEEK to report damage. Who can unpack a large amount of items in one week. Therefore I was very disappointed with the experience. Of course Rhemo blames the Insurance company, however Rhemo also chooses who to use for their insurance and are fully aware of these terms. I feel that that these timescales are highly unrealistic, and the fact they also buried in a ream of small print feels disingenuous . So on this basis I would NOT recommend Rhemo Removals.Read more

Arrived 2.5 hours late, no apology or explanation. Most unaccommodating about removing furniture . Refused to move anything not speciifically listed. Refused to help with light fitting i could not reach Said their attitude was because they'd been had by customers. Would never use again.

Absolutely brilliant company from making the initial arrangements with Barbara to the guys who moved us in the day. They were professional, careful and considerate and great fun to have around on a stressful day. Thank you all and very happy to recommend.

Used Rhemo for moving from a house into a first floor flat and I honestly can’t recommend these guys enough. Showed up on time, loaded everything promptly and handled my items with care. Paul & James were top blokes - smiles all around and they were both very efficient.

I had my removals carried out in January.
I chose the packing service as well as removals.
All of my things were packed with care.
And moved with care.
Even when the people buying my house turned up early with their removals van and started bringing their stuff in before my removals were finished they remained calm and professional amidst all of that. Chaos - It was not what was planned and my buyers removals people should have waited for us to be finished moving out - but moving day never seems to go smoothly!
Just want to say thank you so much for making the move easier and less stressful for me on the day, for your patience and for all your hard work.
