138My employer hired them to assist with a short-distance move, for which they charged thousands of pounds (out of my personal budget, which I could have used for other things). From the outset, the service was extremely poor. They arrived unprepared for the collection, without enough boxes, and the process was so slow that we ended up doing much of the work ourselves. The two movers took frequent breaks, repeatedly went to the bathroom, and generally behaved as though they were too tired to do the job properly.
On the day they were supposed to complete the packing, they left early after packing only part of one of the five rooms. Because we had sold the property and faced potential liability if it was not vacated on completion, we had no choice but to spend the entire night packing ourselves.
To make matters worse, when I informed the company that I would only receive the keys to the new property after 3 p.m., they used that as an excuse to charge us for an additional day. In reality, this made no meaningful difference to the timeline. Even so, they claimed they could not complete the unloading on time because I had not informed them in advance that the keys would be collected at 3 p.m., and they billed us accordingly.
Overall, the experience was deeply frustrating and wholly unacceptable. We ended up packing everything ourselves and were then charged for an extra day on top of that.Read more
I had worst nightmare recently while moving from India to Germany.
1) Absolute disconnects among the teams handling Visa , Shipment , city registrations, apartment search and school search.
2) Shipment delayed due to misinformation and lack of central control (5 months). I ended up buying redundant households due to this
3) Highly unprofessional people. It was almost like they were for the namesake I lead all the process
Worst service I have ever seen.
Do not rely on these people .
All the latest interactions are so bad, and we still have not received anything after 4 months of initial packing, I don't know if we will ever receive them.
They are not proactive either, provide the update only when we chase for one.
Unless you want to add to the stress of moving, I'd highly recommend you do it yourself.
