Although we didn’t use Smith Removals for our own move, the buyers of our house did, and our experience with them was outstanding.
After being let down by AnyVan, who sent a truck that wasn’t large enough for all of our belongings, we were left in a very stressful situation. The team at Smith Removals went above and beyond by kindly offering to transport the remaining items to our new home completely free of charge.
Throughout the day they were moving our buyers into our old house, and they were professional, polite, efficient, and incredibly helpful. Nothing seemed too much trouble, and their willingness to help us when they had no obligation to do so made a huge difference.
Our experience showed us the real value of using a reputable, customer-focused removal company. We can’t thank the team enough for their kindness and generosity, and we wouldn’t hesitate to use Smith Removals ourselves in the future. Highly recommended!

Smith Removals Ltd team handled our house removal with outstanding professionalism from start to finish. The team arrived on time, worked efficiently, and treated all our belongings with great care. They were organised, polite, and made what could have been a stressful day feel smooth and well‑managed.

We knew Alan and his team were going to be great from the moment we met them. Nothing was too much trouble and Alan was incredibly patient while our house sale crawled and stalled for almost 11 months.
On the day, the team was efficient, friendly and took great care with our belongings. They were excellent at getting awkward furniture out of the house and took things apart where needed.
At the other end, they unpacked all the boxes quickly and put them in the room written on each one. They reassembled awkward things like the bed, sofa, and desk.
Overall, excellent service. Highly recommended.

Fantastic service from start to finish! 😊
We only needed a few larger items collecting from our storage unit and delivering back to our home, but we were treated as though our job was just as important as any larger move. Allan and his team were friendly, professional and incredibly helpful throughout.
I had quite a few questions before and during the process, and they were always happy to help. They took the time to answer everything patiently and nothing ever felt like too much trouble.
The whole experience was smooth, stress-free and handled with care. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and would definitely use them again in the future! 😊

I cannot fault Smith Removals! Allan was very professional and reassuring from the first telephone conversation.
He and Dan, arrived promptly (prior to 0830) which was the agreed time. The van was clean and well equipped, with furniture coverings, and straps to secure and protect my furniture.
They were very efficient in loading and unloading, and accommodating with my requirements.
I am very grateful to have come across the Instagram account when researching removals companies.
This was a long distance move, and using Smith removals provided reassurance, trust and ease! They were careful with my furniture and honestly very friendly and welcoming.
I would definitely recommend, and use their services again.

If you’re moving house then you need to book with Smith Removals. Right from the start Allan did everything he could to make moving house stress free. From quote stage to post move he kept me informed, checked in with me and made, what is a very stressful time, easy. I got everything I needed, massive amount of boxes, tape, paper wrap etc. He couldn’t be there on the days we moved but his men were absolutely brilliant. They were polite, courteous and friendly. They made sure I was happy with where everything was and always checked with me where I wanted things. As a woman on my own with children they made me feel very safe and looked after. I honestly can’t praise them enough, if you’re looking for a friendly, knowledgeable and capable moving company then give Allan a call, you won’t be disappointed.
