These guys are absolutely fantastic! They were recommended to us by family members who had recently moved and I'm so glad we went with them too.
The service was excellent from start to finish. They were quick to visit us for an initial quotation, extremely responsive over email to answer all of our questions, and were patient when we were going back and forth to discuss their availability for potential completion dates.
Moving day itself with 3 members of their team helping us was a breeze. We were gobsmacked at how quick and efficient they were at packing up our old house and unloading everything into the new one. They took care in how they loaded the vans, appropriately wrapping items such as the fridge/freezer, sofas, TV and mattress to avoid anything being scuffed or damaged. Where items weren't labelled they checked where things needed to go instead of just dumping items in rooms at random. They even dismantled and rebuilt a tricky treadmill for us to get it from A to B.
Aside from their super strength and speed, they were really friendly guys and it was a pleasure to have them help us move into our new home.
As a rule of thumb, we'd always prefer recommendations over price when it comes to getting a reliable service, but they were even competitive financially so they really do tick all the boxes of an outstanding removals company.

Brilliant and efficient service. The communication with Asta was great and detailed. On the morning of the move they arrived on time and both Asta and his colleague were speedy, careful and helpful. It was the best removal I’ve ever had and reasonable priced. Thanks again

Excellent company. City removals helped us move houses. Did a prior assessment of the house to advise us on the options to consider with what vans to book and prices. Booked in easy. On the day the two gentleman that helped us move were fantastic, went above and beyond and were worth their weight in gold. Very hard working and helpful and took good care of all of our belongings. Took down the big furniture and reassembled what we wanted in the new house which was a huge relief to have furniture built by time they left. Would highly recommend and reasonable price too. Thank you for making our moving day last week so smooth.

Brilliant! They moved us from Nottingham to Shrewsbury.
Turned up early, and just got on with the business of handling all our belongings, with respectful courtesy, while being extremely efficient, a few items of furniture/ appliances of ours were either heavy / awkward or both, and guy’s just took it in there stride, actually very calm, and in my opinion hard working. And what I observed on the day, we would definitely use them again, and there quote was competitive.

Excellent movers who made moving day a whole less stressful! They were on time, great with communication and made everything look easy. Nothing was too big of a job and excellent problem solving skills. They also helped me organise storage and communicated with me throughout the process.
All round excellent and very happy with the service. Highly recommend Asta and team.

I can't sing the praises enough of Asta and the team from first contact to completing our move. Everything was packed really well in protective covers and put into any room we wanted which was a godsend highly recommended if your moving these are the guys to call A+ service
