Once in the property I asked one of the lads to test the TV. It had been knocked and screen damaged. The lad on the move took full responsibility and assured us this would be resolved as fully insured, and would mention this to the owners. Long story short, the management did not want to know. They buttoned my calls, didnt call back when they said they would & didnt message back either.
It took numerous phone calls to get this resolved, except we were told it wont be and told 'well I wont be doing anything about it'. We were told that the lads had said we had knocked it so on the basis of this they would not be doing anything about it. After paying almost £850 to move this was very dissapointing. They couldnt do enough before the move, and oddly afterwards they avoided speaking to us.
I needn't have worried at all, from my initial contact with the owners Pat & Julie to the truly excellent service by the 2 lads in the van. The whole experience just flowed. The lads were professional polite & exceptionally careful of all items in transit.
I would not hesitate to recommend the services of Prestige Removals.
