Buckley's Removals have been moving people in Manchester, Salford and beyond since 1989. The company was originally started by Peter Buckley, it is now in second generation ownership, having been taken over by his son Mark. Their motto to the customer is quality, honesty and reliability.

I recently moved house and had my belongings moved into a storage unit using AnyVan, and had a terrible experience. I was anxiously searching for a different company to move everything from the storage unit to my new house and came across Buckley's.
My request was extremely last minute (I reached out on the Thursday afternoon, asking for removal the following Tuesday morning) but Janine got back to me immediately with an extremely reasonable quote and the availability I needed. She was super friendly and extremely helpful getting everything booked in.
On the day, Mark and his son arrived at the unit a little early to accomodate for my schedule, and got everything loaded into the new house very quickly - all while being friendly and chatty. when they were done, Mark provided me with photos of the storage unit, their van, allowed me to personally inspect etc. (to help me with a claim against AnyVan, as furniture had gone missing on the first leg of the move) and they had everything all done and dusted within just a few hours.
Absolute life savers, I would definitely recommend Buckley's - they're a family business and customer service is clearly a priority for them, but they're not charging outrageous prices - win win!
The ONLY downside was Mark's son saying that WhatsApp is before his time which made me feel very old, but I think I can maybe forgive that.Read more

Really lovely friendly family removal firm. Extremely polite and hard working. We had lots of boxes (as we collect a lot of bits and bobs) and they moved it all with care. They also stored our items due to our renovation at a very competitive price.

Really great service for our house move from Buckleys. Great communication in the lead up to the move. Mark and his sons were really friendly and made everything run smoothly. They arrived on time, loaded the van fast and efficiently and the same when unloading. Highly recommend.

I highly recommend this company. They made my otherwise chaotic move to the south quite smooth comparing to how it could have turned out. They were very friendly, professional and really efficient! I had to share my key with them, and they followed all instructions to the dot and kept in touch with me the entire time. I was happy with the price as well. Thank you so much Buckley's!

On the lead up to the move, Janine was very communicative and friendly. She made the whole experience very straightforward and reassured you that you were in good hands.
For the move itself, Mark and sons were extremely quick and efficient, funny and warm. They made what could be quite a stressful day, rather relaxing.
It was really lovely to see and support such a happy and hardworking family business.

Fantastic company. Communication was top notch with very quick replies to all questions. Quoted a reasonable price. The lads arrived on time, we're really friendly, knew their stuff and got the job done on time. They really took the stress out of the move. Couldn't recommend more.
