This is the second time I’ve used TCR, I have found them very communicative, get the job done fast and I’ve never had any damage done to my items.
The guys were always very friendly and it’s never any trouble pointing where you want the boxes put.
The prices are competitive and I feel are always reasonable.
Would use them again if needed in the future.
Nick in the office gets back to you with emails very fast; which is brilliant. Other companies leave it days to reply.

I’ve seen some reviews on here being negative, but if you want a company to hand pack, turn up in a fancy truck that costs £100k, team of 4 men etc. then you’ll pay 5 times the price. For what TCR charge they offer a very fair and decent service, the Luton vans are more than enough, I’d rather have numerous Luton vans than a whole house crammed into 1 truck.

So disappointed with “service” provided. Claimed the initial quote wasn’t for packing despite the enquiry clearly stating that it should so charged extra. They then charged for an extra day despite leaving at 12 on day one. Then left a lot of property behind and took a further week to finally deliver it all. Caused damage to items and were unresponsive and dismissive when contacted. Will never use again.

I employed this company when moving house on 30 June 2021. I sent an inventory and photographs. A few days before the move I called to check on how many vans they were sending as I noticed their fleet consisted of small vans. I was told two but I felt uncomfortable. The day of move three vans and 3 people arrived. Three vans and 3 people was not enough and this left us in an embarrassing situation and having to return on Friday for balance of goods we had to leave behind to the annoyance of the new owner who was not happy. The vans were packed to the brim without real care. I also had to pay extra yet it was their miscalculation. My family mucked in and helped unload and because of the lateness things were put anywhere and every where. A lot of my items were damaged but I said nothing however my fridge started leaking as it clearly had something placed on the top and the sides expanded outward and shelves did not fit and were loose inside. I put in an insurance claim and was told I was too late and nothing was put on top. My eyes don’t deceive me I saw them place items on top. However the issue is that I was never given a policy nor informed about a deadline for claiming which was a day late. They declined to answer. Due to their miscalculation my move was the worst experience of my life and I had to buy a new fridge. DO NOT USE THEM.Read more

I would definitely recommend T&C Removals after using them last week to move from our 3 bed town property to a cottage in the country. From start to finish they made the process very straight forward and very cost effective. Martin, Dean and Jacob were great on the day. Friendly, hard working and careful with all our belongings. Nothing was too much hassle and everything moved, even our piano, with care getting everything through some tricky doorways and stairwells with ease! The use of 3 Luton’s was far better than one large truck, which they had considered were best for the job. Far more flexible. Whilst we are not planning to move again soon, would definitely use again and recommend to others for seamless & stress free transition.

A huge thank you to Martin and the team for making our house moving day so easy. The team arrived punctually, loaded up the two luton vans we needed (moving from and 3-bed house) carefully and efficiently without any breakages. Very friendly service. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to friends and family. Also by far the cheapest quote we had for the job. Never want to move house again, but if we did, we'd definitely use Town & Country.
