The night before the move, we received a call to let us know they would be arriving about an hour later than the originally agreed time window. While we appreciated the heads-up, it was still inconvenient given how early we had planned the day around the initial timing.
There were a few other things that left us disappointed. After paying the deposit, we received an email requesting an additional £12.50 ULEZ charge - something we feel should have been made clear before booking, especially as we had already provided full pickup and drop-off addresses.
We also paid an extra fee because the delivery location was on the second floor, but the driver only unloaded the van and didn’t carry any items upstairs, which made the charge feel unjustified.
Another issue was that the van came with minimal protection for our belongings - just some rope, no padding or blankets. We even offered dust sheets to help protect the items, but the driver declined. Unfortunately, this resulted in some light scratches on furniture and marks from flatpack panels rubbing together.
Overall, the service was just okay. We appreciated getting the job done within two hours, but the lack of transparency around additional fees and minimal care with item protection let the experience down.Read more



I booked because the reviews were not so bad and the price was competitive.
I booked a big van for 3 hours.
A few days after my booking I received an email asking me to pay the ULEZ on top of the original price. Something that was not mentioned when I booked.
When I complained I was told I could cancel but I needed to pay the fees. So I did not cancel. And what a mistake!!
When we were loading the van, I was told I needed to pay £80 more, because the list of items I wrote was shorter than the things I needed to put into the van.
The van was almost empty but I was told that the size of the van does not matter, it's the number of boxes that counts!
So instead of paying £140 as per my original booking, I ended up paying £240.
Fraud!
