We had superb service from Jimmy and his team when we moved house recently. Nothing was too much trouble for Lance and Kenny. They arrived on time, grafted through the heat last week and had us flitted in no time.
We found nothing damaged, scratched or missing.
10 out of 10.
I would thoroughly recommend JWT to anyone wanting a very fair priced removal.

Avoid this company at all costs. My experience with them has been nothing short of a nightmare. They caused damage, lost essential parts, left us without usable furniture and then spent days denying everything instead of taking responsibility. They were only willing to move half my belongings because they “don’t move anything that isn’t in a storage bag or a box” which included TVs, microwaves and even an air fryer, I found this out on the day of the move because I wasn't provided any terms and conditions. I have used removal companies before and never once heard of this. They also turned up without basic supplies and used my sandwich bags to gather parts because they didn’t bring their own. They even made me move several boxes around myself because they “couldn’t be bothered” to walk a few extra steps down the hall.
My daughter’s bed was left unusable because a main slat went missing. First they claimed it wasn’t missing, then they said it must still be in my old house which makes no sense as they dismantled the bed. They can’t keep their story straight. My own bed couldn’t be assembled because screws vanished during the move. Jimmy then offered me £1 in compensation for the missing screws which is honestly insulting.vThey didn’t reassemble my couch either. Several pieces of furniture arrived scratched or damaged. My freshly painted walls were marked. My new flooring was damaged. Even the close ceiling in my old property was dented, which I now risk being charged for. All of this was denied immediately.
When I raised concerns, the attitude was unbelievable. Jimmy first admitted in writing that he couldn’t see damage in a photo, then immediately backtracked when I pointed it out. He swore at my mum on the phone and spoke to both of us like we were stupid. Every single attempt to discuss the problems has been met with rudeness, gaslighting and denial. I sought support from a solicitor and had them help me compose an email requesting JWT insurance documents, their checklist from any damage they came across on the day and how they documented and recorded that and was told I wasn't getting any details about his company. This move happened during an extremely stressful time in my life, and they made everything significantly worse. I am now out of pocket replacing or repairing things that should never have been damaged. My daughter and I are sharing a bed because hers cannot be used. And instead of help, I’ve been treated with utter disrespect.
