We had the great fortune of somebody we know recommending Billy and his superb team at The Shire Removals when we were at our wits end trying to complete a tricky house move. Cannot praise the team highly enough. ALL you could want from a small business: they DO what they say they'll do. They'll DO it when they say they'll do it. They will DO it well. and they will DO it with grace and humour and suggestions as to how it might be done better. Just brilliant. Thank you Billy and team so very much.

We had a complicated move to say the least, two properties moving into one. First house move out date 4th and the second move date 9th, entry date to the new property was also the 9th.
This didn’t phase Billy and Jen at all. They arrived and emptied the first 3 bedroom property, did I mention it was on the top floor, then took it all to storage.
On the 9th they arrived and emptied the second 3 bedroom property and proceeded to the new property. Finally they were able to unload the second property which was a considerable amount many of which were boxes etc. They left and went to their storage units and packed all the first property's vast contents ready for the following morning. Billy and Jen arrived the following morning all set to complete the job.
From the onset Billy and Jen were so professional and friendly, they really made us feel this could all be done without a hitch. They were patient and very considerate, nothing was a bother. From the planning and logistics they really were on the ball. My family and I can’t recommend them highly enough, if I was to move again they would be my first choice, if they’d have me.
100% satisfaction and we would recommend them to anyone.

What a fabulous experience from start to finish! Billy and Jen were so efficient and helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them. All communication was prompt and friendly and we so appreciated the extra help with moving a heavy piece of furniture out of our house for uplift. Talk about going above and beyond!

Used their service for moving a piano and their service was brilliant from start to finish.
Quoted and booked in swiftly after messaging them. They arrived for uplift right on time and no issues at all. Drop off was very successful even although it involved them removing a door due to tight space.
Pleasant and friendly to deal with. Would highly recommend.

Many thanks to Billy and the team that made our house removals last week so much easier. They were all great - very professional polite and efficient. Sorted out everything we needed including collecting from storage in Kirky without us needing to go and also moving a lot more than originally asked from our rental.
