great service they kept in touch move went well, I had no moved like this before so did not know what to expect but everything went really well.

They kept delaying the delivery of my goods. They said one date, on the day they said another date and on the day again another date. 10 days of delayed... when finally they came they refused to assemble my bed as we agreed. We are still waiting for their response about this issue and for them to come and do it. All these problems have cost us waste of money and time rearranging things to be at our flat the three times they said they will come. Very unprofessional

I would give a zero if possible. They were professional on the phone, seemingly working with us to keep costs and inconvenience to a minimum. i am already resident in Cyprus and my partner was doing the move. We agreed a set number of boxes but the oafs instead packed up the entire flat, and then told my partner an hour from the end that we're over and we should prioritise. How do you prioritise a whole days packing in an hour. Needless to say they took our goods and added 1000gbp on to the bill. They have our goods so we paid. Now 4 weeks later we STILL do not have our possessions. Did the useless imove or their even more inept partner in Cyprus tell us anything? Of course not!! They have both mislead us at each and every turn and i just hope this review gets made public. iMove are awful!!!

[UPDATE 22-6-2018]:
I would like to add that despite being told that our goods were in Cyprus, they were actually still on the Med passing Ibiza! Apparently, even a certificate and ETA doesn't .. Read more

Dear Sir,
You requested a quotation for the move to Limassol and gave us a list of items to be moved. Your original list included a large L shaped sofa and 4 boxes for Kitchenware and 4 boxes for clothing. plus other items.
On receipt of the quote you decided not to take the sofa and we re-quoted on a lesser volume including the 8 boxes of 150cuft at a reduced price.

It was explained to you (we provided 3 quotes all together) that prices are dependent upon the volume of the goods to be moved, more volume more expensive.

On the day of the packing we packed 27 boxes, there were also items submitted for packing that were not on your list. In addition to kitchen ware and clothes boxes we packed wicker baskets, records, books, toiletries, hoover, extra lamps, suitcases, and bedding to name a few items. Your list was quite specific and to suggest your partner had no idea that the shipment was over volume is quite ridiculous given the huge amount of boxes and packed items other than boxes (41 items in total) that would have been stacking up in the apartment as packing progressed.(the vehicle was not loaded until the end of the day) so all the items would have been clearly visible stacked in your apartment.

If your partner had any concerns re costs and volume she should have called the office for advice and to talk through her options.

The crew did call the office to advise the shipment was going over volume given the amount of boxes they had to pack and we tried to call your partner to advise, we also emailed at the time.

I will also add that the quote was based on good access and parking for the removal vehicle and collection ground and first floor only. When our crews arrived at the address it was a 4th floor apartment with no lift, narrow access/hallways and no parking resulting in a parking ticket and two very exhausted packers.

Furthermore, your door to door quote was for “delivery to residence, based on ground floor with good, close and free access at destination address.”

The quote for 150cuft was £820.00 plus vat the final volume was 300cuft and we charged a further £700.00 plus vat for the extra volume, so we did not charge you another £1000.00 extra in fact we discounted the extra volume charge by £120.00 plus vat.

You received a certificate of shipment and an ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival) from Imove based on the shipping Lines vessel schedule as advised to us. Imove cannot possibly be held responsible for vessel delays honestly this is totally out of our control.

Your shipment was delayed two weeks due to payment issues and was released from our warehouse for shipment some two weeks after collection of the goods when those issues were resolved. Without these issues your shipment would have been delivered within 5 weeks from collection which is well within the time frame specified.
We are sorry you felt we were obstructive and petty in our dealings with you, but we feel this simply was not the case, it was explained to you that we could not ship without payment for the shipping and if this is obstructive then I apologise.
