Excellent movers! Everything was as expected and no surprises. Great communication. They were efficient, moved fast without compromising care for our items, probably the best move I have had, we found no issues with our items. They came with their tools and brought in some supplies that were helpful. They wrapped up our big items very well and were very careful. Louis and his team (3 men total) were great, highly recommended.

We had the pleasure of using City Moves for our house move today. The guys were so lovely and helpful, nothing was too much trouble and they were very approachable. I will definitely be looking to use City Moves for the next move (hopefully not too soon). The men today were a credit to the company.

I made contact with city moves after having quotes from three big reputable companies that were absolutely ludicrous! We moved from Newport south wales up to Scotland. We decided to take up the pack and move package. The guys turned up the day before the move and were absolutely amazing! Literally packed up the entire house head to toe. Everything was wrapped up safe and boxes clearly labelled. The next morning they arrived and took apart all furniture that needed doing and loaded that up. We met them then the next morning at 8am at the new house in Scotland. The guys were again amazing and so fast. They had everything built and off in a few hours. Also took back all the empty boxes and packaging that we were able to unpack while they did their thing. So happy with the service provided. All the guys were great! And the best thing of all was the price! I guarantee you will not find a better service or a better price! They made the entire move completely stress free.

I got fooled by the reviews. They may he nice people but the charge is cheeky!
I'm just 1 person, moving to live alone just me and my cat. I have just 1 double bed, a cuddle sofa (small sofa). No white goods. They'll be driving just 45 minutes to an hour. I wasn't asking them to move me to a different country! Yet they charged me £800. The only reason for this after I asked is because I'm on the 8th floor.
1. There's clearly a lift. Your not expected to walk up those stairs.
2. There's a large space on the bottom floor where people leave their stuff to move. I can take 90% of my boxes myself in the lift to the bottom floor. Yet still charge £800?! Apparently they've been in this building a few times.
There's 10 floors. Can't imagine what was charged for that. There's a LIFT.
I see 0 logic in this pricing.

City Moves did an absolutely fantastic job moving our home and business to a new property. A great crew of lads who worked so hard. We were incredibly impressed with their can-do attitudes, the care they took with packing up and unloading our stuff and their seemingly endless reserves of energy. Massive thanks for making it so seamless for us.
