Excellent salesman, professional and helpful. Had all the right answers to my questions, as a newly single woman leaving the family home it was a daunting and scary time for me. Offers of boxes and packing materials (at a cost) date of moving booked with ease. However on the day the guys who arrived were helpful but also in my opinion bad mannered and rude, one of them actually looked through my skip on the drive and poked around in the shed when I had told them nothing from the shed was being take. Cigarette butt's left in my garden (I don't smoke).
I gave clear instructions on what was being removed and what needed to stay, sadly they paid no attention and took everything, causing the tools of my job as a medic being taken and other items which caused a lot of hassle and hardship and infact cost me my job and loss of owed money.
When I contacted them about the problem I was told it was my responsibility to monitor what was taken and items taken in error would have to wait until we unpacked. (Our items were going into their storage units for unknown amount of time) and not a single apology for the behavior of their staff.
When we arrange delivery of our I requested a new team which they supplied and I can't fault the delivery team, helpful and hard working. Items were broken furniture that should of been taken apart and stored had been removed complete this caused damage to wardrobes that are now fit for the tip, items that were solid and should of been kept that way were taken apart and antique dressers ruined and damaged that were family heirlooms , oak wardrobes broken and damaged. Artwork bought from galleries that cost several hundred pounds smashed and ruined that isn't covered on their insurance because they didn't pack it. (Be warned!!) I have approx £8,000.00 and I'm still unpacking of damaged and broken possessions half of which is not covered on their insurance because they didn't pack it.
I did however get an apology for my second complaint.
I chose them because I thought they were professional and trustworthy. I now wouldn't trust them to pack my groceries from the supermarket.
Advice: Avoid or pay for the whole service take photos of everything document everything and prepare for heartache.Read more
