Second review due to them threatening me with legal action. (Sorry Sirelo!)
Due to Covid, Lopa postponed the pickup date and offered no refund when they were no longer needed. They claimed that they will be keeping 70% of the money (and a cancellation fee) due to postponing the pickup date, even though they are the ones who postponed.
To be specific, they misquoted article 7.1.3 & 7.1.4 of their own contract which states a penalty if YOU delay pickup. Again, THEY are the ones who delayed the pickup and then refused a refund claiming a late cancellation.
I now have no need of their services, wouldn't trust them with my belongings anyway and have not received my money back. They have offered to return less than 30% of my money and said that will have to wait as they are also asking for a bailout from the UK government.
Writing reviews, contacting paypal and contacting them has not helped me. I advise caution when using cheap services like Lopa.
