Not really one for giving reviews..particularly when the likes of Amazon etc allegedly bribe the reviewers…but in this case I’m driven to make an exception.
A traumatic 4 property chain lasting 6 months, completing Christmas week.(Dec 2025).
It was predicted to string out to New Year but last minute the chain all clicked. Our booked movers (major name) left us hanging then the day before moving day cancelled ! PANIC!
Ringing around 16 movers with no luck, we stumbled across MLW. MITCH WAS LIKE A BREATH OF FRESH AIR, made every effort to help
and tweaked existing schedule to squeeze us in !
The team were ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC, polite, cheerfull, helpfull and couldn’t have done more - nothing was too much trouble. A (very) long winters day, dark and raining did not deter these guys.They smiled all the way through ! Every single item of our large, 3 bed house plus annex (with some very heavy lumps of furniture) was moved with care and respect. They waited patiently for the inevitable hand over delays and placed all items exactly where we requested.Absolutely nothing got lost, damaged or misplaced.
There was no endless pages of contract, no waiting fees or insurance waivers - just very rare good old fashioned customer service.One price quoted, no hidden rip offs.
On top of all this, MLW were over £2000 cheaper than the big name single truck company who wanted us to jump through endless hoops and pay 50% up front !
I CAN HAND ON HEART RECOMMEND MLW 101%…YOU REALLY WOULD BE MISSING A TRICK NOT USING THESE GUYS ….THEY TURNED A NIGHTMARE SITUATION INTO THE BEST CHRISTMAS PRESENT WE COULD HAVE HOPED FOR.
I have given Mitch full permission to pass on my email address for anyone to contact me to verify our TOTAL SATISFACTION…. my only regret is not being able to remember the names of the team. Thank you all so very much.

We used MLW for our house move recently and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them! Geoff, Delvin, Alan and Byron did a fantastic job - they were friendly, polite and so helpful. The weather on move day was pretty hideous but it didn’t phase the lads and they got on with the job quickly and efficiently. Mitch was also brilliant with communication and understanding when we weren’t sure of our move date until a week before! Top notch company that we would definitely use again.

MLW Removals have been a delight from start to finish:
Mitch came round to give us a quote and we got the instant feeling that he had respect for our belongings (especially a LOT of house plants!) which, along with the competitive price, gave us confidence to pick him.
His whole system of booking etc and communication was really easy to follow.
On the day of moving, four extremely friendly and strong lads - Geoff, Delvin, Alan, Byron - came round at the exact time we expected and got to work quickly! They were careful and respectful of our belongings, our dogs on the property, and our own disabilities. Importantly, as an autistic adult, they were patient with me asking questions about how it all worked and what to expect, from their experiences of moving days. I never felt ignored, unheard, unvalued through the moving day process.
The lads were nice and chirpy from 8am until 7pm despite the late key release, trying to make sure they could place everything exactly where we wanted it in the new house despite the dark sky and piles of boxes!

Mitch and his team were absolutely brilliant. They supported my parents moving after 49 years at their house with efficiency, care and above all empathy. They became a part of our journey and made us feel like we were a small part of theirs. Cannot recommend these guys highly enough.

We had the best moving experience with this company. Delvin and Alan were absolute legends, they were efficient, professional, nothing was too much trouble, friendly and chatty while they worked. We couldn’t have wished for a nicer experience on what can be a stressful day but they made it easy for us. Thank you Mitch for being so professional quoting for us, we knew immediately that we would choose MLW for the move. These guys in your team are a credit to you. 110% recommend.

An excellent service from MLW Removals. Duo, Alvin and Ali both professional and very hard working. Mitch made it all very easy with the booking and kept me informed. Great company will be using them again when I need to get everything out of storage. Thankyou guys.
