Matt was available throughout the process for advice and information and the removal team were prompt, efficient, friendly and very patient with us as we had to wait a while for the keys to the new house. Nothing was too much trouble for them.
I would highly recommend Winchester Removals and would definitely use them again in the future.

It was very fortunate that we had the keys longer to our existing property as the packing service was not up to standard. They left a large number of items (4 car trips worth) including a large drawer full of clothing, a cupboard full of crockery and items on the kitchen sides and window sills. They also did not give any instructions to remove TVs from the wall therefore left all of these as well (despite taking down computer monitors).
We found a hot chocolate cup in the bedroom and hot chocolate stains on the carpet in the bedroom and on the stairs which we had to pay to get cleaned. We had paid for carpet coverings which were only used on the stairs and not in the bedrooms. These were removed before leaving and obviously this was when the drink was spilled on the stairs as the stain was still wet.
There was also damage made to the upstairs door ino the bedroom from a desk.
They broke a plastic box with books of ours and did not tell us, just left the sharp broken box in our new garage and books distributed all over the place.
I emailed the company to raise my concerns. The response I got was very defensive placing blame on us for not supervising the men and they disputed stains and damage despite this most definitely being their doing. We were offered a small £50 gesture of good will.Read more
