Andy & Abdo who carried out our removals were brilliant. They were careful, efficient & overall just really nice gents. They took no time at all clear our house, and with unloading they were always asking for our advice on where we wanted things etc, they didn’t just presume and dump things where they didn’t need to be.
Of all the processes we go through during a move, they made this one the least stressful which is saying something! We couldn’t recommend them highly enough - thanks guys!
On the rescheduled date, approximately 20 minutes prior to the scheduled appointment, Melissa contacted me to express her confusion, stating that she had already visited our residence and completed a report. However, this was not the case, as we have resided at this address for over two decades and have only recently obtained quotes from two other companies.
Melissa appeared uncertain about how to proceed, and I conveyed my diminished confidence in Yorvik Removals based on these experiences. Nevertheless, I agreed to allow her to handle the situation. Regrettably, there was yet another instance of non-attendance.
Subsequently, I reviewed Yorvik Removals' Google reviews and observed a pattern of defensive responses to negative customer experiences. These responses tend to place blame on the customers and absolve the company of any responsibility. Given this trend, I anticipate a similar response to this review. However, it is pertinent to question how customers can trust a removal company that fails to honor initial appointments.
In response to the expected reply from Melissa YOU HAVE NOT BEEN TO MY HOUSE. 4 weeks ago I.had not contacted any companies about a move as we had NO moving date. You were not outside my house as my.dog would have barked furiously.
YOU have been mistaken and gone to the wrong.house. I take objection to how rude you are, and you expect customers to trust this company.
I'll still keep 2 stars as the office staff have been really nice.Read more
