- Despite several calls on the day, refusal to give me a pick up time until 5pm when a slot between 9-10pm was given
- At 10.05pm the driver called to advise he had been at end of street at 9.30pm but could not drive along street as there were overhanging branches which would brush against vehicle. This is a removal vehicle, not a Porsche, which I assume is insured in the event there was significant, if any, damage. He was instructed to abort pick up by the operations department and told they would call me the following day. I was refused a contact number for operations department
- I suggested it might have been prudent to knock on my door to explain situation when it would have been pointed out that it would look different in daylight given a 10x4m pool had navigated the streets as well as bin lorries, cranes and cement delivery vehicles to empty plot 20 yards from my property
- Surely they have a duty of care to check Google Earth for access
- It is my claim the late hour, as well as the thunder storm contributed to the unwillingness to fulfil the collection which I would have understood and rescheduled
- It should be noted that the main road, Route de la Cavayere, has trees with lower hanging branches
- I called office this morning to be told operations department would contact me by email; it wasn’t possible to call as they were too busy

I can wholeheartedly recommend Franklins... reliable, efficient, good communication, friendly and smooth. And a very good price! Couldn't have found a better removals firm.


Our delivery at our UK address was equally smooth, Adam and ? Apologies the name escapes me. Again, professional, friendly and treated our effects with respect.
