We began planning our move to Italy in January 2026 for the final move in June 2026. After obtaining quotes from several major moving companies, we were surprised by how expensive they were.
While searching for alternatives, we came across Sirelo and requested quotations through their platform. We were contacted by several companies, one of which was JCL Transport Group. Shortly afterward, we received a call from [Name removed by Sirelo]. Following a video survey, he provided us with a quotation. From the very beginning, we developed a great rapport, and the price he quoted was significantly more competitive than those offered by the larger companies.
We decided to proceed with JCL Transport Group, and it turned out to be an excellent decision. [Name removed by Sirelo]. guided us through the entire process, providing all the necessary customs paperwork and supporting us whenever we needed assistance, whether it was discussing the move or completing forms. He never hesitated to help and was always professional, knowledgeable, and approachable.
Throughout the process, [Name removed by Sirelo]. went above and beyond to support us. At times, it felt as though he was part of the family rather than just a moving consultant. We exchanged hundreds of messages, and he always responded promptly and efficiently.
We packed everything, and on 2 June 2026, the truck arrived exactly as promised. Loading was completed within two hours, and the journey began. During transit, [Name removed by Sirelo]. kept us updated every step of the way, informing us when the truck entered the EU, cleared the first customs checkpoint after four days of travel, and finally when it was cleared by Italian customs.
[Name removed by Sirelo]. reassured us that, provided all documentation was in order, there would be no issues importing our belongings duty-free under the Transfer of Residence scheme. His advice and expertise gave us great confidence throughout the process.
On 6 June 2026, our belongings arrived safely in Italy. We were extremely pleased with the service we received and would highly recommend JCL Transport Group to anyone planning a move to the EU.

JCL helped me move from Germany back to the UK and were brilliant! I was pretty anxious, but [Name removed by Sirelo] was friendly and patient when talking me through the process and making sure I had all my documents correct, and the driver [Name removed by Sirelo] was super friendly and careful with all my items, especially the fragile ones. Just make sure you pack things well and thoroughly wrap up any objects to avoid scuffs during transport. Thanks so much JCL for taking so much stress out of my move! Will be recommending to my friends.
