I used Callister to move my 'stuff'from the Isle of Man to Florida last year (August 2024). Vicky dealt with everything exceptionally quickly and had by far the best pricing. We packed everything up - I had several bicycles and boxed them up - we used large heavy duty plastic storage containers (with lids) from B&Q for the rest of the items - 21 boxes in all - on the date specified Callister turned up with the van at my home in Port Erin, wrapped everything in bubble wrap, labelled it and it was gone. Vicky was great at getting all the paperwork done for the international transfer to get our domestic stuff into the USA duty exempt. It took 4 months to reach our home in Florida. Vicky informed us which ship the container was on and when it would be expected in the USA. The freight handlers on the USA side were prompt at clearing it through US customs (took less than a day)and arranging transport from New Jersey where it arrived. The truck arrived in my driveway a week after arriving in the USA and the driver and his assistant unloaded the whole lot into my garage. No extra fees/costs/charges. Everything went smoothly, great communication and very prompt. It took 4 months because it was a part load and required waiting until the container was filled/the truck in the US was filled. Nothing but 5* for everything.They know what they are doing and get on with it. I would use them again if I needed to. There was a lot of crockery in the shipment and it all arrived intact. I did not take out insurance on the shipping - it was not needed. If you have a full container it will be quicker.Read more

I used Callister Removals to move from London to the Isle of Man recently. The Isle of Man went into a lockdown the week we were due to move. This meant a lot of uncertainty for us and our relocation. Callister Removals modified their service quickly and professionally (collecting and storing our belongings until they were able to get them to the Isle of Man). As soon as they were able to, Callister Removals delivered our belongings safely and securely. The customer service was excellent and Callister Removal's expert knowledge made what was turning into a nightmare move much more manageable. Could not recommend more!

Trying to move to an Island where the borders are shut during a global pandemic is not easy! It poses something of a logistical headache for the removal firm which Rob and the team managed on our behalf.
Callisters moved us from Southampton to Castletown in August 2020 and managed the logistics organizing a full packing service before the move down to unloading on the island before we arrived.
Everything arrived in perfect condition and we could not fault the service we received.
If anyone is looking to move to the Isle of Man or just moving on the island and you are in need of a removal firm, then look no further than Callisters!

I first used Callister Removals back in 2006 when I moved to the island and wasn’t disappointed. I’ve since used them to move (on island) a couple of times due to their competitive pricing and professionalism. Always found they go the extra mile and there’s no obstacle they can’t overcome. Nothings to much (or too small) for the best in the business. Highly recommended. 5 Stars!!
