They moved a very large settee to a second floor apartment. I didn’t think it was going to fit through the doorways and hall BUT he persevered and removed a couple of doors and managed finally to get the settee in the lounge. Not sure how he managed it but 10/10 for effort and persistence. I will definitely use again - if we will accept the challenge 😂

Alan and his team were AMAZING!!! I was booked in to have a move and asked Alan last minute if he had any earlier slots and he was so accommodating! Took a great deal of care moving my items and packed/loaded them with such care making sure he accounting for every single item. You can tell Alan has a great deal of experience and is passionate about the job that he does which is a rare find in this day and age. The quote he gave me he stuck to, which again is very rare as most removal companies will bump up prices drastically over a single extra box….but not Alan. I’m so pleased I booked with Alan even though other companies tried to price match him I stuck with my gut and trusted Alan and I am so so soooo glad I did. Please use Alan for all your moving needs, I will one billion percent recommend him time and time again!!! Thank you so much for making what could have been a very stressful time run with such ease

Moved house earlier today and it was so easy thanks to the Move it Men!
Incredibly smooth from one house to the other. All items moved were done so with incredible care and attention.
Alan went above and beyond, even fixing our TV unit which was on its last legs, thank you.
We will definitely be recommending you to others. Thanks so much today lads!

This is a VERY delayed review but thank god I'm finaly managing to do it, and since I'm in need of removal men again I thought why not review these guys that I used last time. Or guy. Alan alone. James - fine, no problems, cracked on with the job and he is so friendly. The older guy Alan however - my word I have never met such a grumpy man who finds his job so aggravating to do that he complains and is ratty so much!
We first had our fridge & freezer and some boxes removed from A to B, no problems. Then there was the big move of a 3 bedroom house to a storage unit, which anyone in their right mind would know its a pretty big job! They were lucky our unit was on the ground floor!
Alan huffed and puffed throughout and by the end of it, the words that came out of his mouth were 'if I had known it was this much, I'd have charged more, I will have to put my prices up!'. My husband and parents were there to witness it the first time and the storage unit staff witnessed it the second!
I mean what? You give a customer a price based on what needed moving and you DID ask about the house and the stuff prior, so presumably you set your prices according to that - we took your word that you know what you're doing when making your prices! That's not our fault if you can't cope with it after and the job is bigger than you thought! What did you expect with a 3 bed house?!
Honestly, will never be using them again.
When moving things into the storage, he had constant cranky remarks, and the storage unit staff have also stated that other customers who have used them before have said the same about his attitude and I was shocked.
If you are getting old and you can't do it, scrap it in. Don't take it out on customers and god knows potentially damage their belongings!
My advice? - stay well clear if you have alot of stuff and want a smooth move.Read more

I just wanted to say thank you for a great job. They were courteous, on time and nothing was too much trouble. They did a fantastic job. The move couldn’t have gone smoother. I would definitely recommend Move It Men of Bolton if you want a satisfactory job doing. Thanks guys
