We first had our fridge & freezer and some boxes removed from A to B, no problems. Then there was the big move of a 3 bedroom house to a storage unit, which anyone in their right mind would know its a pretty big job! They were lucky our unit was on the ground floor!
Alan huffed and puffed throughout and by the end of it, the words that came out of his mouth were 'if I had known it was this much, I'd have charged more, I will have to put my prices up!'. My husband and parents were there to witness it the first time and the storage unit staff witnessed it the second!
I mean what? You give a customer a price based on what needed moving and you DID ask about the house and the stuff prior, so presumably you set your prices according to that - we took your word that you know what you're doing when making your prices! That's not our fault if you can't cope with it after and the job is bigger than you thought! What did you expect with a 3 bed house?!
Honestly, will never be using them again.
When moving things into the storage, he had constant cranky remarks, and the storage unit staff have also stated that other customers who have used them before have said the same about his attitude and I was shocked.
If you are getting old and you can't do it, scrap it in. Don't take it out on customers and god knows potentially damage their belongings!
My advice? - stay well clear if you have alot of stuff and want a smooth move.Read more
