We filled in the forms in detail and a guy came out to check what size van would be needed. On moving day, the guys filled the van but there wasn't room for everything. We had to pay £450 for them to send another van for the small amount of stuff which was left, despite it being the companies mistake that they hadn't sent a large enough van in the first place. When we complained, we were told it was our choice to have the second van! As if we had a choice! We couldn't leave the stuff behind, and everything else was loaded and ready to go.
It makes us wonder whether Goddard's pull this scam regularly to force extra money out of clients?

The removal guys were fairly efficient
Got ripped off for an extra £450 due to them sending a van which was too small for the contents of our flat.

I wouldn’t even give this company 1 star but you have to click on at least one. Terrible experience. I used them to move, store and deliver to new address. Several items never even turned up, including a valuable chair! Gone forever and Goddards refused to acknowledge this. Lots of items broken. I tried to complain but I got nowhere with the owner of this company. It’s effected me emotionally too, it’s so depressing when you put your trust in a company like this to be then let down so badly. It felt as though I’d been burgled. An awful firm to deal with and terrible customer service. Do not use this company.
