Excellent, professional service for my move from Aycliffe to Edinburgh. Friendly and efficient team. All my items were moved with care and nothing was broken. They even gave me discount as another client was moving to the same area at the same time!

Recently helped us move house. We're very quick to respond to our enquiry and provide a quote. On the day they arrived on time with 3 guys which helped make emptying the old house very quick, likewise the same with taking the furniture into the new house. They whole process was done fast, efficient and friendly the whole way through. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for help moving.

I honestly don’t think 5 stars does Glen and his team justice, they deserve way more!
They sorted everything out for our house move and essentially rescued us from a nightmare scenario at such short notice. This was after another removals company (AnyVan - avoid them like the plague!) sent a bunch of disrespectful unprofessional cowboys who damaged all of our belongings and then left them on the street outside our old house, after we had to cancel the move out of fear of further destruction to our property.
I immediately called Glen for help, having moved house with South Durham Removals last year, who provided an excellent service. I explained the terrible situation and out of his kindness and compassion, he was able to make some special arrangements to complete our house move just 2 days later, despite being fully booked for the next 2 weeks! I was ready to pay a premium price given the last-minute emergency situation, but Glen being the honest and honourable man that he is, simply charged me the original price from a quote several weeks ago (which we had unfortunately been unable to proceed with due to scheduling conflicts at the time). This was already the best quote with regards to both price and professional service!
The 2 chaps who then came to move us were absolutely fantastic - the ultimate professionals: courteous, highly skilled and so efficient! Despite being limited for time, having squeezed in our house move as an extra job, they even managed to reassemble all our furniture in the new house and try to fix some of the damage that had been caused! Thank you so much to the both of them, we are so grateful!
This is what real model professionals look like, quite literally the complete opposite of the horrible cowboys who caused and left us in such a mess to begin with! Glen and his team are all a credit to the removals business and all round exemplary people.

I couldn't be happier with the service provided by Glen and his team. They really helped to take the stress out of a very stressful day and were professional, helpful and friendly throughout. I had a lot of belongings and the weather was scorching hot but they just got on with it and got the job done in a very cheerful, efficient and professional manner. I will be forever grateful and would definitely recommend this company to anyone seeking a removal firm to help them move.

First class service from Glen and his team at South Durham Removals. The whole experience, from filling in the online form for the quote, to offloading in the new house, was a seamless experience. Hard working friendly team who went out of their way to make moving day as painless as possible. They worked without a break to make sure we got in, finally finishing at 7pm on a Friday night. I highly recommend them and wouldn't hesitate to use them again. You won't find a better service or price. Many thanks to the whole team!
