Fantastic service. Video call for a quote which was really helpful. Friendly, approachable and incredibly hard working staff (despite temperatures of 28 degrees). Would highly recommend.

Just a brilliant service all round - from the initial survey with Mark, to the communication and flexibility leading up to the big day. Mark's team was excellent - everything carefully packed and labelled, and placed in the correct rooms at the other end.
We literally did nothing, other than keep the coffees flowing. Comfort Moves really took the stress out of our move, and I would absolutely recommend their services.

Highly recommend Comfort Moves. They made the entire moving day as painless as possible, and very professional. Our only regret is that we should have paid for the full packaging service as this would have been worth it in hindsight. Hats off to the team for grafting in 32 degree heat and fitting the lorry through the gates with a few centimetres to spare. Thanks for the successful move.

We deeply regret using this thoroughly unprofessional company for our move. Prior to removal day the packing materials that were promised were not delivered (eventually we went to collect them ourselves). On the day of the move the person in charge of the team (Peter) arrived in a bad mood (complaining to us about a road closure plus how small the roads were to where we lived), and his mood did not change throughout the day. This was very different to the day when he had visited to sell us the service when, of course, he had been very pleasant. The website had promised us smartly uniformed personnel but no such uniforms were in evidence. With one exception (Ken) they showed no respect for us or for our possessions. The side panels of our bed were dropped from the lorry (causing damage), the headboard was damaged, paint was knocked off chairs and tables, strong plastic boxes were cracked. The response from Dave re the corner of a cardboard box getting soaking wet was 'it's only one box' (unfortunately the box contained some valuable books so it was of concern to us) - though there had been a very short spell of light drizzle it was difficult to understand how the box could have got so wet unless there was puddle in the lorry. I witnessed boxes being dropped. A metal trolley was used to move boxes - my suggestion that some protection for the wooden floor would be appropriate was simply and curtly dismissed by Peter as being 'pointless'. Boxes marked 'please do not stack' were placed at the bottom of the pile. Boxes marked 'this way up' were placed upside down. A mistake was made in the charging which resulted in us making an overpayment on the day. It was agreed that a refund was due to us but we had to work very hard to get this. When I contacted them to query why the refund had not arrived I was informed that they had 'forgotten to do it'.

This company hasn't even moved my belongings yet but their efficiency and helpfulness is exceptional! I was compelled to write a review. Anna, I hope that's right, was professional, helpful and was so flexible when plans were changed. All I can say is thank you and if you are reading this debating whether to hire this company of not...please do!!
