Paul and Josh did an excellent job. We live on a narrow road with tricky access and steps up to the house. The lads worked really well together, were easy to get along with and took good care of everything. They went the extra mile and took a largish sofa down the steps for a local charity who arrived at the same time. A job well done. đź‘Ť Thanks a lot, you took the stress out of a big day! Marian

Jason and the team have just moved us from Liskeard to Lincolnshire. From a very competitive quote to moving day, Jason took care of everything, which made it all less stressful for us. Packed and unpacked in quick time by his efficient, helpful and good humoured staff, it couldn't have been any better. I would definitely recommend Jay's of Cornwall

I rang this company with pretty short notice to ask for a move on the 18th April they couldn't make the 18th but they could do the 19th about 09.30.
Well the 19th arrived and about 09.15 2 vehicles arrived with 3 guys they just got on with the move asking a few questions of what was going and what was staying. We was moving from Morval to Trenodden. These guys were great they made our house move a breeze it was all loaded safely within 1.5 hrs and we left them to it while we shot off to sign up for our new address. The 3 guys that moved us are really great ambassadors for your company and I won't hesitate to recommend you to everyone. Great work guys and thank you for making a stressful day a breeze.

This is a tale of two halves. Jays moved my stuff from Cornwall and into their storage for 9 months, then moved it to East Sussex. The Cornwall end couldn't have been better. They were helpful, efficient, came back twice so I could clean before I left but still have what I needed. They would get five stars.
At the East Sussex end the young guy who did most of the work was friendly and helpful. But the other, a Jay I believe, was surly, spent most of the time complaining, told me he 'didn't do beds', the whole thing seemed to be a huge inconvenience for him.
On unpacking I discovered vital kitchen items were missing, including all my cutlery and the kettle. I contacted Jays. They didn't reply. It appears that now they've been paid they consider the job done and can't be bothered to even attempt to find my things. This part of the job would be a one star, and that star would be specifically for the little lad who couldn't have done more. If it wasn't for him I wouldn't have even had a bed to sleep in.Read more

I was let down by a previous mover last minute due to their van breaking down. Was panicking and desperate for somebody to help me move my belongings into storage as we had to vacate the property that day with no delays.
Was able to have a swift saviour by jays of Cornwall. My support worker contacted them, very quickly they popped round to assess how many belongings we had and whether they could do the job. Very luckily they were able too. Within minutes, 2 vans (one ended up not being needed), and a huge group of very lovely men came and very swiftly loaded my entire house load into the van.
They were by far the speediest movers I’ve ever seen. The entire house was cleared within the hour.
Amazing for how last minute it was (from the time we called to them moving us, was less than an hour).
