Luckily little damage to our goods. Customer service were great initially [Name removed by Sirelo] and actually embarrassed at the service and non reply from management ( although this may be part of the act) Transport manager[Name removed by Sirelo] rude, arrogant and dismissive of our claims regarding services not received as paid for. Promised to pass on our claim for compensation or return of monies paid for services not received to relevant department but obviously never done and certainly no management contact details given when requested. When pressed he finally sent and email stating staff sickness and to consider our case closed! Attitude stinks. Avoid completely. This company is a complete cowboy set up. Obviously there are no senior managers and “[Name removed by Sirelo]” is the one and only. Seems that they are masquerading as a far bigger more professional set up than the actual truth. In fact very difficult to find info or reviews on them and I believe many people mistake rem with the far more professional Alexander removals. Company and its attitude stink. DO NOT USERead more

My belongings were moved 2 weeks ago from Spain to Scotland in 2 Luton style vans. Day before due delivery, I was contacted to say they would not deliver my goods unless I paid £3760 for excess weight that Customs has charged. Or, they could take it back to Spain for £2500! I asked for evidence of this additional charge from Customs but they could not provide it. Eventually they agreed to release 1 van and 2nd would be released when I paid the 'ransom'. The 1st van arrived, 1 person only to unload...the driver, wearing shorts and beach sliders. One of my many items of furniture was a piano. The van had no tail lift nor did he have a trolley or equipment to move a piano. After many phone calls, Alexanders Removals said I needed to find some local to help unload the van. Thankfully I knew someone who could help and I paid him. The Romanian driver was very inexperienced and wasn't even able to raise the plastic covering at the rear of the van. It was a nightmare. The piano was badly damaged. The driver took photos and said, via googly translate, that he would inform the office.
The company eventually agreed to a payment of £2500 to bring my belongings to Scotland as I said that I couldn't pay the £3760 and that they could take the van back to Spain. The The 2nd van arrived 6 hours later. By then my local helpers had left Again, 1 driver, again, shorts and beach sliders, to unload the van. In the end I had to help ... I'm 62 with arthritis, but I was wearing sensible footwear. The young Romanian tripped on the stairs and injured his hand as his shoe had come off. I felt sorry for both drivers as they were only the 'messengers' so to speak. I did provide coffee, sandwiches and biscuits for both drivers, all be it one in the morning and one in the evening. There was also damage to a cabinet; the leg came off in front of my eyes. The cabinet was too heavy for 1 person and the leg broke off as the guy let the cabinet go. I have requested compensation for both the piano to and cupboard to be repaired. Alexanders Removals are refusing, first saying that both items were damaged on collection in Spain. This is a complete lie. The storage company in Spain had four of their guys helping to load, again, at my expense, and photos were sent. No damage was done there. Alexander Removals then said I should have reported it with 48 hours, even although the driver took photos and said he would send them to the office.
My initial contact with [Name removed by Sirelo], who was sweetness and light, had gone well, but when my belongings were held to ransom, Alfie was off on holiday... conveniently.
DO NOT TRUST THUS COMPANY. THEY ARE LIARS , CHEATS AND SCAMMERS. The reviews they sent me must have been made up. The above was my experience. Extremely unprofessional, sub- contacted the job and won't pay for damage enen although they are insured. They just can't be bothered. NIGHTMARE EXPERIENCE, NOT TO BE TRUSTED.Read more
