I cannot say enough about the City Removals team. The were quick, efficient and very professional. We have used them twice for our moving needs and ee will use them over and over again. They should get 10 stars!!

I just used City Removals yesterday - the week has been incredibly stressful and insane timing which meant i was on my own - managing all with the kids and move. City Removals and the men who did the move were a godsend. I think the move day was the most rest i’ve had in a while since there was genuinely nothing for me to do but guiltily watch them take our excessive crap without a flinch. They even went above and beyond moving heavy appliances from the new property (as we were already bringing our own) to the garage on another street using their truck which i would have otherwise had to bribe siblings to do with me (and probably dropped the heavy items along the way). They even wrapped soft furniture, had a special mattress bag and also l covered our carpet with a protective cover and were more careful with our stuff than we’d be. We’ve moved four times and these are hands down the best we’ve used. Thank you !!

We recently moved with City Removal and the experience was wonderful. To be honest, given the mixed reviews and the fact that their price was significantly cheaper than others, we were a bit sceptical at first. However, I’m so glad we went ahead and booked them.
They arrived on time, wrapped our furniture with great care, and even disassembled and reassembled our wardrobe at no extra cost. The whole time they were friendly and professional. We were very happy with the service and would definitely recommend them to friends and family.

Alex and his team were super. Alex called round on Thursday to pack up most of the odds and ends. He worked full day but left us with ability to eat, sleep and spend a comfortable last evening in our home.
On Friday morning at 8 o’clock he returned with 2 colleagues. They were a whirlwind of lifting and shifting. They dismantled beds, other large units and disconnected white goods. We were ready to leave at 2 o’clock. We checked before leaving, there wasn’t a scratch left by this team on our former home.
We were left waiting by the seller’s movers but got in just before 3 o’clock. Unloading began together with re-assembly of furniture and re-plumbing in of white goods. Once again, Alex took good care of the fabric of our new home. They took between two and three hours but made a point of checking that we were satisfied that every key piece of furniture was sited optimally.
We’ve been unpacking over the weekend. We have yet to find a broken item and so are very happy with the service which City Removals have delivered.

I cannot recommend City Removals enough! They are true professionals. They came with two (!) vans, which made it easier to find convenient parking near the house. I had a couple of precious (and heavy!) items, like a big mirror and some antique furniture, and they came fully equipped. They took the big mirror in a special padded bag, and all the wooden furniture was carefully wrapped. They were super nice to us, kind, and maintained a good mood while moving everything with a smile. Nichola from the office is so sweet and patiently explained everything. Thank you for the smooth and professional removal!

I accepted city removers quote on 3rd March for a moving date of 28th March. Got a confirmation email re access to the new place and exchanged what's app messages re logistics etc. As instructed I confirmed exchange on 14th March and was told they had my removal team ready but no vehicles which seemed really odd - price went up by 40% as they had to “hire” vehicles. They called next day on 15th March to say three of the team were “injured” so they could not go ahead. Not convinced. All very disappointing and not professional at all. Having now read other reviews this seems to be how they operate so please note you should only approach when you have exchanged with a confirmed date or you are at risk of being left high and dry. UPDATE: Also six months later, I have just been asked to remove this review or face legal action
